Fish have what looks like a line of dots running along their sides. In some species there is more than one line. This line is called a "Lateral Line". It contains pressur sensitive nerve endings. These act like our ears and pick up sound and other vibrations which are transfered to the fishes brain. The fish then reacts as required.

Maybe. Most fish lay eggs, but there are some species of freshwater fish that "lay" their eggs inside their own bodies, then later "squirt" out the hatched tiny baby fish that grew from the eggs.

Two comments: Piranhas are sexual--they have to mate (in piranha the female lays eggs on the river bottom and the male swims over them to fertilize them) to reproduce. To reproduce asexually, piranhas would have to divide, which they don't do. The other comment...piranha live in the Amazon, which is a freshwater river.

Not for very long. Since goldfish are extremely high waste producers, a smaller body of water would slowly kill them due to the toxins and lack of oxygen in the water.

Bluegill are an abundant sunfish species, and are prey for largemouth bass and pike species, as well as humans, otters, osprey, and many creatures. They are also predators themselves, feeding on smaller fishes, insects, fish eggs.

yes walleye will bite you hand or whatever else it can get in its mouth. if you dont want to get bit dont hold them like a bass XD lololololol

Well, the average cost of 100ml of BlueGill costs around £1,500. It it made from many different elements, all of which are expensive and of rarity. I commend you highly for having the altitude and the reverence to ask this question, but I also doubt that you will be able to find the money to pay for this item.

What my dad used to tell me, sunfish is edible.But he also said that it doesnt usually tast too good. I've never tasted it before so i wouldn't really know on my own opinion.^.^

Your dad was wrong....sunfish, green sunfish...blue gill...aka bream and perch are outstanding pan fish to eat.

No, but what they eat is generally part of a food chain which is based on plants that get their energy from sunlight by photosynthesis. There is at least one exception to this: deep ocean vent communities which get their energy from sulfur compounds.
