We just returned from a Nova Scotia fishing vacation and found this with brook trout caught on the same day. Only difference was some were caught in a semi-salty Bras d'Or Lake tributary and some in a nearby fresh water river.

Grouper is another common name and there are many different species that are called by that name. Never-the-less they are all fairly large fish. The large Groupers (In Australia they are called Gropers) can get to a couple of metres long and weigh in at over 250 Kilograms. (600lbs approx).They do not have large teeth but do have very large mouths and amazing sucking ability. They are reputed to be capable of swallowing a fully grown man and there has been a report of a person being killed by a Grouper in Mozambique. Near Cairns on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia I personally witnessed a swimmer with his hand and arm down a Gropers throat trying to retrieve it after it had been swallowed as he swam past a Groupers 'hole'. Can one eat a person? I would say yes it is possible.

The last answer was horrible. Yes largemouth eat bluegill. I was fishing earlier today in an acre and a half pond. My bait of choice was a 3-4 inch bluegill. I let the bluegill swim 3-6 feet from the shore, after about 10 minutes a largemouth approx. 22 inches started circling the bluegill like a shark. The bass continued to circle not even paying attention to 3 humans standing on the bank. We he was convinced the meal was good he sucked the bluegill in his mouth. I've never seen anything like it.

A Salmon is not a trout. They are related, however a Steelhead is actually the same fish as a Rainbow Trout. Genetically identical. Salmon die after they spawn while Steelhead return to the sea/lake and can spawn several times before death.

I like neon tetras because they look really cool and different with their blue and red colors. They look like they are fake, though. It is really your choice, not mine. I like the fish named Guppy.
