It could be any reason. Furries are pretty much like cosplayers, but they cosplay as their on character. Sadly, furries are know for the h0rny side- not the bigger side that´s kind, nice, and accepting.

Uh- this is a joke, right? If not, then I'll tell you that it is definitely NOT a religion. There are some religious furries but the furry fandom itself is not a religion.

For most people the fandom is simply that... A fandom, like any other. Part of the reason furries are afraid of "coming out" is that thay are worried of losing friends or respect. I would just say ask normally and don't make a deal out of the answer either way. If knowing that he/she is a furry would impact your friendship don't ask. It's simply not worth it, there the same person ether way. Be smart, don't make it uncomfortable, I hope this helps!

This depends on what you mean by 'Horse Head Mask'. If you mean the masks used to protect a horses face from flies then yes you can wash them. You can either just scrub them out by hand with a very mild detergent and rinse them thoroughly and let them air dry, or you could put them in the washing machine on a gentle cycle, again letting them air dry when done. If however you meant a mask that looks like a horses head you should either look for a tag with the instructions or contact the manufacturer for exact instructions as the proper way to wash 'costume' masks will vary according to what material they are made from.
