Gallbladders and Bile

Bile salts do not digest fats. They cause the fats to become smaller and that increases the surface area so that enzymes in the digestive tract can act quickly.

Not good - eating causes the stomach to expand, and if you have a disk problem in the anterior (front) of the spine, the resulting expansion when you eat can be enough to cause this kind of pain.

The pain typically will also radiate forward into the stomach and even the groin area, though it may not be as strong. I remember this happening to me prior to my second spinal operation in 1999.

The bile duct carries bile to the proximal duodenum (the first part of the small intestines) and to the gall bladder (in most species).

The gallbladder is connected to the liver. The liver creates bile which helps in the digestion of fats. The bile is stored in the gallbladder and then the gallbladder excretes it through the common bile duct, into the duodenum (small intestine) where it is put to use. During the storage of the bile, it becomes more concentrated.

In humans, people can develop gallstones (similar to kidney stones in one's kidney) and results in the gallbladder being removed. People can live normally without the gallbladder as it is not an essential organ in the digestive system.

Not in my experience. My father had his removed and my wife has issues with hers. In their cases it just caused ridiculous amounts of pain in the chest which felt like someone had run them through with a rusty pitch fork. Neither of them experienced any vomiting or stomach issues. It didn't mess with their plumbing at all.

A gall bladder problem can definitely cause nausea and vomiting, especially if the gall bladder problem causes inflammation of the pancreas (pancreatitis). If you have nausea and projectile vomiting (unable to keep down even a teaspoon of water), you should seek immediate medical attention.

They secrete their products into the duodenum of the small intestine.

Answer If you are caughing up anything except white you'd better get to see a doctor very soon. Brown means bronchitis, black could mean that you are bleeding inside. I wouldn't take any chances with this as it could be serious. It could be a variety of things but you must see a doctor and have a chest xray done as soon as possible. Gallbladder has no segments. Gallbladder is a bag like or cyst like structure and need to be removed in Toto.

Surgical clips are necessary when getting your gallbladder removed.

When your gallbladder is removed, it leaves an opening in your common bile duct. Normally this opening is where the liver pumps bile into for storage in the gallbladder. Since you no longer have a gallbladder, if this opening was not sealed with surgical clips, your liver would essentially be pumping bile into your abdomen.

The liver removes bilirubin from the blood, turns it into bile, secretes it into the common bile duct, some goes into the small intestines but most goes into the gall bladder, (the gall bladder is highly absorbent and removes water, thickening and concentrating the bile ), the gall bladder stores the bile (which is used by the intestines to break down fats), and releases the bile when fatty food enters the small intestine from the pyloric sphincter of the stomach. Contraction and secretion of bile by the gallbladder is stimulated by the enzyme cholecystokinin, which is released by the duodenum in response to fats detected in the lumen of the duodenum

As far as I know it transports the bile into the stomach. Most likely I'm wrong but it may be right

Gall bladder stone are there means your gall bladder is practically useless. Get it removed before you get pregnancy. So that the gallstone does not come in common bile duct and complicate the pregnancy.
