OK Scrap everything that previous person has said underneath this they clearly don't know what there talking about ,legendary pictures have gained rights to produce a more "accurate" version of Godzilla slated for release mid 2011, There is no news about toho yet but in 2014 it will be the 60th anniversary of Godzilla they might release a film such as they did with Godzilla : Final wars in 2004 Godzilla's 50th anniversary. they are not going to release a film called "kiryu" they killed him off in Godzilla Tokyo S.O.S . and it would be stupid if they released a film about MECHA-GODZILLA without Godzilla in the plot . anyway toho has already started to bring back the monster star he just made a cameo in sunset always on third street 2 its a short dreams scene and like cloverfield it focuses more on the people than the monster but we see Godzilla and he was all CG and it was pretty well done and glad to see him make a return so soon =) hope this helps
