It depends on the browser you're using.

For Safari, you need to go to the Safari menu -> Preferences... -> Security, and change your "Accept cookies" definitions.

For Firefox, go to the Firefox menu -> Preferences... -> Privacy, and change your definitions under the "Cookies" section. If you're using a different browser, you'll still probably find the cookie definitions in the Preferences / Options window, under the privacy/security tab.

Advantages of Google:

Google is free to use, has a custom search engine, puts the search results according to the most popular to least popular.

Google has options for image search, article search or even search for any government document.

It searches according to the terms you type and also searches for other terms with same meaning.

It is fast, realiable, it has its own dictionary, calculater, and spell check.

It may someday, but it's highly unlikely. Interent Explorer is built into every copy of Windows, so it's always there no need to download anything. This way the average user cab just click on it and start surfing the Internet. Chrome will always be a download, unless Google comes out with an operating system of their own (there has been talk of it but nothing, yet), so the average Internet user won't be so fast to use it. Also, Chrome has Mozilla Firefox to pass before it can consider overtaking Internet Explorer as the most used browser.

Facebook is not changed on Google Chrome browser. It has remained same for any browser.

You don't exactly PUT a picture on google, when you make a website, e.g. someone puts up a site about animal shelters donate etc. if they have picture of a cat than google will look for pictures of cats then it will have the picture of an abused cats or something, BTW if you put up a picture (you have to make a website first) then that doesn't guarantee that someone with see it it may be on the 17th page and we all know that nobody goes that far. My point is 1 you have to make a website if you ever want something on google.com 2. it still doesn't guarantee that everybody WILL see it.

While Google Chrome is a bit faster then FireFox, Google Chrome often renders pages incorrectly and has trouble with some websites, although it at first appears to be cleaner then FF, FF can be customized and icons can be removed or made smaller, however you can't remove the file bar in FF that is considered useless to some people due to the keyboard shortcuts, GC has no file bar and doesn't present this problem and the keyboard shortcuts still work, FF has many add-ons and customizations, while Google Chrome has none.

Well it depends on what 'safe' means. If you mean safe from hackers and stolen personal information, then very safe. If you mean safe from children viewing inappropriate images, then not very safe. You can set up a safe-search setting, which only allows 'clean' images through the filter. However, this setting can be easily changed to allow inappropriate images to be viewed. So, it depends what 'safe' you are looking for.

Yes it does. There is no root kit protection for the browser and therefore your network becomes a back door for anyone who likes to drop trojans, etc. Also, Google Chrome is part of the Pentagon's Cyber Task Force. Everything you do on Chrome is monitored very heavily. All of your personal information, sites visited, files downloaded, etc, are all stored on a cloud server that is constantly scanned for "malicious activity". Basically, if your using Chrome, you have zero privacy while surfing the web. And it's slow as molasses.

yes google chrome is better than internet explorer. in my oppinion google chrome is the best internet browser. i use both google chrome and internet explorer and i have noticed that there are many times when internet explorer does not respond and that sucks because when it does not respond, you cannot close it or click on any link. in my oppinion Internet explorer is more virus prone than any other browser. google chrome always responds and is faster and lesser virus prone than internet explorer.

Google does not charge anything, but installing any software from the internet means you download data. Most internet service providers do not care much about how much data you download (unless it is an enormous amount like 50 movies) but some charge according to how much data you download.

You can always change the homepage you click that opens up first. This can be done in the settings option in Chrome.

Well this is how I did it:

If you have a Mac, you first have to decide what you want your new homepage to be (ex: Google). Then, you have to highlight the URL of your new homepage. After that, you drag the highlighted URL to the little house button on the upper right-hand corner and release. Click yes and you're done! I hope this helped and good luck!
