I put in a ATI HD 4650 PCIx16 $69.99 in mine and it runs GREAT! Just plug it in to slot>turn on computer>install the drivers>reboot the computer and you are good to go.

that's a tough question to answer because there are many things out there to make an unorthodox computer which can perform better but the best "normal" one I can think of is as follows:

Intel Core i7 265

EVGA E759 Classified Limited Edition motherboard

2x Nvidia GTX295 graphics cards in SLI

2x Intel X25-E Solid State Drives 64gb in RAID 0

2x more of the above in RAID 1 mirroring the first

4x Western Digital Velociraptors 300gb for storage

6GB OCZ Blade series DDR3 2000 RAM

Corsair 1000HX PSU

Overclock all of this and run it under liquid nitrogen and you should be all set

(i didnt include things like CD drives but those don't really effect performance. neither does the power supply but that's the best one u can but in my opinion

Looking at your motherboard, the RX 480 will work with your rig no doubt.

Just a suggestion, depending on what games you play, you could get a Geforce GTX 1050 Ti, as it is more than $100 dollars less, and can still run games very nicely with decent frames.

There are websites where you can look and compare videocard speed averages. (See Related links). According to VideoCardBanchmark the 7770 got more than twice the performance marks.

I plan to be a programmer so I'll pass on the information to you. Well, you should have a fast computer ( but not super super fast) and some Ram (2 - 4 GB) and some hard drive space (80 or more). You might also need a CD/DVD burner in case if you want to put some programms on a DVD to put on another computer. You'll also need software, like Netbeans, or JCreator (both free). And you need books to look stuff up and to learn. You should also have an alright CPU, you could use a CPU w/ Frequency 2.0, but you should have 2.2 or higher.

You could take off the factory cooler and install a better videocard cooler from a computer vendor. However this is not usually the best way to go, you could install noise dampening cloth into your case. Other than that, you'll most likely have to live with it.

a graphics card (is that what you mean), or GPU (graphics processing unit) generates the image that goes to the monitor. It does all of the video and image related tasks, such as rendering 3D objects, anti-aliasing (smoothing sharp edges of 3D objects) generating 2D images, rendering video, and all other things to do with visual effects. If you were actually referring to some photo editing software called gahpic cart, or something like that the please disregard this answer

The Hp6140f has an onboard gma 3100(graphics media accelerator). Uses the g33/g31 driver updates as recognized by the device manager. The gma onboard is okay for regular use, but for any other advanced graphic purposes an add in graphics card is highly recommended.

Yes the 570 gtx is worth the money, Suddenly there will be a game on the market u wont be able to play, then the 570 would be ur saver instead of buying a new one!

You can try replacing your video card. Some laptops do allow to upgrade video controllers.

I did some research and its up to you on this one. The GTX 580 has a HDMI port but the other doesnt. If you dont know what the HDMI port on a graphics card does, it just means you can use a HD monitor/TV for better quality. The GTX 590 seems like its better on performance but the price is way high.

If you click on start, then click on Run, (Or if you have Vista's Search Bar, search for dxdiag) Then click on dxdiag, a window pop-up should appear with some tabs. Click on ''Display'' on the tabs, then where it says DDI Version, it should say your level.
