No. They have a hormonal cycle, but it does not go with blood on their genital parts.

The poo can be, but not the bedding, the bedding is better off being taken to the tip, or put in your dustbin/trashcan.

What i do to bathe my guinea pig is to get a large bowl, a sink, or the bathtub and put about 5 or 6 inches of water in (maybe even less then that) Then put in one tiny squeeze of guinea pig shampoo just so there is tiny bubbles around the side of the tub you are using.Use a soft cloth or your hands to bathe your guinea pig. Hold your guinea pig to make it feel secure,it won't drown, and it won't run away. Then gently and thoroughly dry off your guinea pig when finished.

It would depend on the size of the litter. If it was a singleton, then 5oz would not be unusual; a litter of 3-4, which is normal would be 3-4oz each. Anything under 2.5oz is unlikely (but not impossible) to survive.

That would probably work, as long as you put down some tarp, newspaper and then flease/light blanket over the area. Make sure there is a sturdy gate around him that he can't squeeze thru or jump over, and there is no cords nearby. Lastly, make sure its big enough. For one pig it should be 8 to 9 square feet, and 10.5 for two.

In my piggies case its grass and dandelion leaves. They also lovely their dark green leaves too that I get from the supermarket in the cabbage section. Grass is their absolute favourite though and they'll come running up when my children poke grass through the cage.

Giving them hard vegetables such as carrots will help file their teeth down, Timothy hay should also be available as this holds needed nutrients and wears their teeth down too.

This probably isn't dandruff, it's most likely to be mites, if your guinea pigs have scabs on their skin, i reckon it could be. Take it to the vets for a professional opinion and they will give you some treatment for it.

Did you wash her with flea shampoo? This can cause dry skin and dandruff with piggies.

could be scurf, trademark sign of a few conditions, it is best to take your guinea to the vet if there is a problem they will give you a special shampoo or some ivermectin to treat it and it should clear up in a few weeks

We have our piggie out for hours at a time. She likes to curl up in a towel on our chest or somewhere along our body. I don't really see the need to keep them in a cage except for sleeping and eating.

There snot goes blue, they get warts on the soles of their feet and they lose weight A LOT. They are also quite irritable. Yes and No. Some guinea pigs like water and some don't so if your guinea pig jumps out of the water. Don't try to put it in water again, unless it starts to like it.

They probably could if you left the cage door open but ........ guinea pigs like there home they wont run away like hamsters they might go out if they are attracted by another unknown guineea pig but they cant open the cage door anyway.

I got my first guinea pig when i was 7 but my mom did all the work so she got rid of it and gave me another one a week ago and now I'm 13. she makes me keep it in my room so i will keep it clean so my room doesn't smell which i don't really mind cleaning his cage out anymore its fun to play with him ^^
