There were 2 bands called "L.A. Guns" and "Hollywood Roses". When some members (including Axl and Izzy) from those bands united, they called themselves "Guns N' Roses". Later, Slash, Duff and Steven joined them.

Guns n Roses have never recorded Cat's in the Cradle. The song was originally by Harry Chapin. Your probably thinking of Ugly Kid Joe who covered it in their 1992 release Americas Least Wanted.

Half of the music video was filmed at Giants Stadium in New Jersey while Guns N' Roses were on tour with Aerosmith, midway through the video, they are seen boarding the Concorde jet so they could make an appearance in England, and return as quickly as possible back to the USA to continue touring with one of their major influences. The concert in England is the Monsters of Rock event at Donington Park. The reason for this is because of some deaths that took place while Guns N' Roses were performing. As a result, they thought the footage taken at the concert would be good music video footage and a proper show of respect to those who died at the concert. Duff can also be seen wearing an Aerosmith t-shirt in the video.

Bumblefoot, whose real name is Ron Thal, joined Guns N' Roses in 2006 as a guitarist. He became part of the band during the recording of their long-awaited album "Chinese Democracy." Bumblefoot contributed to the band's live performances and songwriting until he left in 2014.

When they kicked out Steven Adler. They stopped being a gang and turned into a rock band and bought pianos...

The movie is a Clint eastwood film titled Dead Pool, the band appear as extras observing the funeral, and izzy is easy to miss, but axl, slash, and duff can be seen easyily, as well as steven, they also appear in a boat scene later in the film

Guns N' Roses have sold more they have been around from 1986 to the present day. Nirvana were around from 1989 - 1994

I can't say how many tickets have been sold however just by know Guns N Roses' performance history i know it's more than nirvana
