What has better graphics Halo 2 or Metroid prime 3?
Technically, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption has better graphics...But Halo 2 had some nice visual effects as well.
As a proud owner of both games, I can say that Metroid Prime has a lot more little details put into than Halo 2 does. That's what I prize in a game. Stuff the creators put in to enhance the experience, when they don't have to.
In short, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption will offer better graphics and more detail, but Halo 2's graphics are impressive, and were top-shelf when it first came out. They're outdated now, but it still is solid.
Is Halo 2 generally harder than Halo 3?
Yes, when the Halo 3 campaign was created, they greatly decreased the difficulty level. So when you play legendary on H3, it is the equivalent as heroic in H2. They did this because they wanted to have people actually finish the campaign. And the addition of the great number of minors.. Like the 8 year olds all of us XbL players know and love.

Halo: Combat Evolved (assuming you are referring to the first Halo game of the very popular Halo franchise) is a sci-fi FPS (first-person shooter) game developed by Bungie and published by Microsoft Game Studios. It was initially released on November 15, 2001, as an exclusive title for the Xbox gaming system. Due to its widespread popularity and many sales (over five million sold worldwide by the time November 5, 2009 came along), in 2003 Microsoft released versions of the game for the PC, available for both Microsoft Windows and the Mac OS X.
As for the plot, Halo: CE takes place in the year 2552, and features Spartan super soldiers that use suits named after Thor's hammer MJOLNIR (mule-ner). Dr. Catherine Halsey and Senior Chief Petty Officer (SCPO) Franklin Mendez produce and give the technology that makes the soldiers what they are. Spartans aren't noted as K.I.A., because the Spartans are labeled as artificial soldiers created by Mendez to make more U.N.S.C. (United Nations Space Command) members. These suits were later fitted with an over-shield created by the Covenant. The Covenant are an alien race that you fight during the game. It depends on who you are asking. I myself prefer 2 over CE, because, not only of the graphical improvement, but of multiplayer maps, the Scarab Gun Easter Egg, storyline, and the BRead and ButteR of every halo game, with the exception of CE, Reach (reach has the new variant), and ODST (I'm not sure about this one have the absence), which is the revolutionary BR, or Battle Rifle. This is only my opinion, but take this into account to help with your own speculation

Unfortunately, you do have to have an Xbox Live Gold Subscription. However, if you have a 360, you can share your Gold with your PC.
Well, you need a gold subscription to play online if you want to play with people who play it on the 360 as well as the PC, but you can play online PC to PC with just a silver account which is free. At least that is what i have heard.

The Gravemind. Basically a massive, highly evolved form of the flood, that is capable of independent though, speech, and creating strategies in battle. A gravemind basically controls the lesser forms of flood, and focuses them on what to do, and can even go so far as to control every individual action of each flood specimen. Without a gravemind, the flood have no ability to think basically, and therefore cannot make plans, or board ships, or even attack in groups. The Gravemind is the most important type of flood, for without, the flood are a fairly easy threat to deal with, as long as you go about it cautiously.
In halo 2 the hunters, grunts, and elites are technically sided with the arbiter. The arbiter later sides with master chief and around that time the elites decide to not follow the other alien brethren so the hunters and grunts no longer side with you. In the end once all the prophets are dead, the elites return to their home-world so they may once again be a part of their brethren.
