What plasma tv has the highest quality picture?
Although there are numerous technical measurements that can be made to assess image quality, the best picture quality is still very subjective. An outstanding image for one person may look too bright, too dark, washed out, or have a color tint to another. Television displays tend to handle different images in different ways. A screen that shows rich, detailed panoramas may not perform as well with fast motion such as a sports show.
The only way to decide which display is the best is to look at as many as possible. It is just as important to watch the type of program that will be watched after buying a television. If you are a wildlife fan, don't make a judgment after watching hockey on a television. If you enjoy movies, looking at a news program won't work for you. Additionally, try to see images from the same receiver you will be using. Television manufacturers spend a great deal of time preparing demo material to show off their television but they are not always representative of content received via cable or satellite receivers.
So, spend time to make your own decision. After all, you will be the one watching it.
What of the cable types has the longest maximum length?

Is it possible to repair a Toshiba 50L3400U Smart TV?
It all depends, what has gone wrong and what needs fixing, but generally, yes.
The internals now have been reduced to very few modules. A power supply card, a video and computer card and an interface card. Most repairs are done by replacing a complete module rather than fixing a board fault. (Although if you can find a good technician, this is still possible.)
Unfortunately the internals are made by another company (Like Vestel) rather than Toshiba, and these boards are fitted to many brands of TV.
There are minor differences on cards of the same part number and the changes even happen with the same model of TV. Screens are often from several different suppliers, with differing connection cables.
It is a mine field, trying to track down the right components. Toshiba are not interested, outside of their legal reqirements of supplying goods suitable for purpose. They would rather sell you a new TV.
pretty darn popular, although I have both standard definition and HD televisions in my house. The HD does make a difference in some things, especially sports and video games. But other than that, I can't say I'm missing too much if I don't have HD.
What size tv fits into a 29 inch opening?
A 32" 16 : 9 display is approximately 29" wide. Some with wide bezels may be slightly wider so it is important to check the television dimensions and the aperture dimensions.
There are two things to keep in mind:
First, manufacturers sometimes aren't accurate when they publish specifications for their models. Do your best to confirm the dimensions with your own tape measure.
Second, fitting a television into an enclosed aperture may result in an unacceptable heat build up without adequate ventilation. Make sure that there is a clear air path on the front and rear of the display to dissipate heat.
Hz probably means Hertz. It's an unit that describes how many times each second something happens.
Hertz is frequency of some wave like activity e.g. sound wave, light wave, etc.
Long ago, the scientific units of measurement were descriptive; for example, "one horsepower" referred to the power that one horse could generate. Then "they" (the "International Electrotechnical Commission") decided to name all the units systems in honor of various scientists and discoverers.
One "Hertz", named for Heinrich Hertz, is one cycle per second.

What is better non-interlaced or interlaced TV?
Non-interlaced, more commonly known as progressive or progressive scan, is better. This is because every line is drawn on the screen in a progressive manner which results in clearer, crisper, and sharper pictures than interlaced ones.
Are HD antenna different from analog antenna?
Not really.
While some "HD" antennas are designed to minimize the effects of multipath reflections in large cities, there's no fundamental difference between an "HD antenna" and an "analog antenna". In a larger city where the TV transmitters are nearby and you have a good line-of-sight to them, you'll see no difference. The antenna is only used to pick up the air signal, which is on the same frequency band as old Analog TV. The only difference is the old-style analog NTSC (or PAL or SECAM) TV standard(s) used an analog carrier and the DTV ATSC standard uses a digital carrier.
The whole "HD" + "Analog" antenna thing is basically hype.
No, Sony is not the owner Vizio. Vizio is an independent company. All manufacturers who make the Vizio make things for Amtran Corporation. These include LG or Samsung OEM suppliers, depending on the manufactures the screen. Links can be found below for more information.

Do you need cable box for HD tv?
If you mean free Over the Air (OTA) TV using an antenna:
1) If you have an HD TV set, you don't need any kind of special box.
2) If you don't have an HD TV set, but your TV set has a digital tuner, you don't need a special box, but you will see the HD picture converted to a Standard Definition (SD) picture.
3) If you don't have an HD TV set and your TV set does not have a digital tuner, you will need a converter box. The converter box will convert the HD broadcasts to SD so your TV can display them.
If you mean cable TV, it depends on your cable provider and your TV.
If you don't have an HD TV, at best you will see an HD signal converted to SD.
If your TV has a digital tuner and it is also a QAM tuner, you might be able to receive some HD channels without a box if your cable company chooses to provide unscrambled HD channels. If your TV has an analog tuner or a digital tuner without QAM, you will need some sort of box.
What is the advantage of a 120hz lcd tv over a 60 hz lcd tv?
Television signals are broadcast at 60Hz, that is 60 fields every second. To make movement appear smoother and to reduce flicker on televisions, some models refresh the screen at twice or four times the rate of the incoming signal. Theoretically, the faster the refresh, the smoother the image will appear so 240Hz might be considered better than 120Hz.
But, it's not quite that simple. Some people prefer this processing while others will say that it does not benefit the quality.
Increasing the frame rate is not a simple task. Each additional frame needs to be created by examining the frames before and after with all movement predicted and calculated. It takes a lot of processing power to do it properly and the image processing still gets it wrong sometimes. The result can be smearing of the image or even adding some high speed jerkiness. These processes can never create information that was not captured originally so the end result always adds errors. Whether the end result appears better, worse or just the same is always a matter of opinion. Get into stores and see for yourself. If you like the effect of 120Hz or 240Hz refresh, it's a good thing to have. If you don't, then it's not worthwhile. If you are buying, remember it's your television so like what you like and not what you are told to like.

J. Stevens 22 cal. # A320

If the gun has ever been reported stolen, the police may have the serial number in their files. Why is there no picture on your westinghouse lcd tv?
Does it even turn on? Is it the projection lamp type or a flat panel LCD set? If it's the projection type, you may have a lamp that's finally gone out or a bad ballast unit.
The other things that can cause no picture is if you have the wrong input selected on your set via the remote control by which, the TV is looking at an input where's there no signal present. Most TV's though, should display something though, such as, `input 1', `input 2', etc.
