No. there is no way you can use LG 3D glasses on Samsung 3D TV, they use different technology.

Shop At Home- Does not answer the mail, or phone, or email. No they are not. Heaven forbid if you have a problem. You would think you were trying to contact the Pope, while only trying to reach a SAH customer service supervisor. Some products are better than others. I have purchased 3rd party graded coins, which were fine. The opinion was not subjective, it was established by NGC or PCGS. My biggest problem with SAH is an item I purchased and never received just prior to their sale to Jewelry TV from Scripps. I have never received the NGC MS-70 Gold American coin. Nor did I ever receive a refund. The company does not back, cover or otherwise respond to anything the company did before the sell. Others, like myself, never received what they ordered and customer service refuses to let you even speak to a supervisor. Shame on them! Tony

There are two answers for this question. The first deals with composite signals and the second deals with cable. So...

Answer one.

Composite signals carry color video as a single signal. The resolution is limited to 480 lines or 576 lines because they are the two standard definition line counts. The signals are below 6MHz and are analog. There is no composite signal that carries HD signals.

Answer two

The cable that carries composite signals is generally fairly poor quality but is sufficient for short links between a DVD and a television for example. Longer runs need a co-ax cable designed to run video signals. The cable is identified as a 75 Ohm cable, that being a characteristic of the cable required for standard video transmission.

Although there are many different grades of co-ax cable, a reasonable quality cable is capable of running any composite signal and will also run digital video in standard and high definition as well. Most video signals use the same type of cable so strictly speaking, there is no such cable as "composite".

In a LCD TV, liquid crystals are sandwiched between two transparent electrodes and two polarizing filters. In other words, liquid crystals (most often in nematic phase) are packed between two glass plates. Two grids of electrodes (one is horizontally aligned and another is vertically aligned) contact either side of the crystals. The job of this network of electrodes is to access each pixel of the crystal layer and control the electric flow.

Liquid crystals are not luminious by themselves and it is the backlight device made of fluorescent lamps which give off the light behind them. The light of the backlight is then diffused by a white panel before passing through the liquid crystals. This white panel ensures that the entire surface of the screen gets uniform brightness. The front panel of LCD is made up of a grid of wires which are in contact with each pixel of the screen and activate it separately.

With in network of crystals, each molecule functions like a gate to open or close the passage of light through them depending on the voltage of the current. To produce bright display, the voltage is kept low while for dark details the voltage is increased. By nature, liquid crystals always allow a smaller amount of light to pass through them making the pure black levels somewhat impossible.

Answer: Unlike Plasma TV screens DLP and LCD last much are longer, and are considered to both have superior image quality. LCD screens tend to have slightly better contrast, with a larger range of black and white color shades. DLP, however, still has faster refresh rates than LCD (although LCD has been vastly improved in this area over the last two years). This can have implications if you are really into high-action motion (sports, action movies), because movement may seem a little blurred with LCD at times. Also, you'll want to remember that in order for you to get the best color out of your LCD, you have to sit right in front of it. LCD TVs also have a slightly shorter lifespan than DLPs, with only 45,000 to 60,000 hours compared to 75,000 hours or more. As far as price goes, LCD and DLP are still more expensive than Plasma, but like all things in time, their price has been coming down. And right now, DLP is slightly more expensive than LCD, but not by much. DLP, in our eyes, is the best investment, at least for the next few years.

The biggest difference is that DLP is a projection technology. Most TVs do not use projection screens.

Becuz U don't want slower than that specially If U like PC games and the first brand who invented Less than 8ms was View Sonic .

anyway, my advice to U is to Choose any of the following :

ViewSonic,LG,Samsung,Sony ... they r all Great and U can find them in Low Price

There can be no single answer to this question. Both companies make fine products. Both are innovators and introduce new and interesting improvements to products on a regular basis. With so little to choose between companies such as these, a choice between products of one or the other comes down to personal preference more than any other factor.

If you are buying a television, it is important to spend time to look at the image of each. The one that has the picture you prefer is the one you should probably be buying.

Well apart from one being red and the other not, the red one gives out light on a different wave lenght to the white one, the red gives light out wich has a wave lenght closer the the Infa-Red spectrum, but not completely IR because then you wouldn't be able to see it :)

Turn your cable box off by pressing Cable button followed by Power button on the remote. Don't turn off the power supply to HD cable box. Then hit the Menu button on your comcast remote. Select output to 1080I and turn 4:3 override off. Expeiment between 16/9 and 4:3 for best results.

HDMI is a signal interface that carries digital data. As long as the data is received without error, the quality of signal remains identical.

HDMI cables that are properly tested will carry an HDMI signal without errors and therefore no cable will produce better results than any other. A fault with a cable normally results in no signal being displayed rather than a poor quality signal.

Better quality cables will tend to be a larger diameter than cheap cables and use better quality contacts as well. These will bot contribute to long term reliability but neither will affect image quality in any way.

The power consumption will vary with manufacturer/model etc. but it will always be on a label on the TV, normally near the power cord connection on the back of the TV. I've recently been looking in stores, and I'd say approx 90-130 watts.

My internet research indicates that QAM will receive unencrypted broadcasts only. While encrypted channels varies by geography, it seems that most cable stations are encrypted while major networks are not. So, best I've determined, is that if you want more than just the major networks in high def you still need the set-top box or Cablecard.

There is not one brand that is best. Samsung, Pioneer, Toshiba, and Sony are all good brands. But beware Samsung products are not the most reliable and when they do go wrong their service department is notoriously bad and they don't have a complaints department.

Most Blueray players have an analog output that delivers standard definition signals. If a high definition disc is played, the output will normally provide an SD version of the content. Using the analog output means that it is possible to use Blueray players on SD televisions. When an HD television is installed, the HDMI port can be used to obtain HD video.

Before purchasing a Blueray player, check that it has an analog output and that it provides a down converted signal of HD material on the analog ports.

Standard definition signals will always remain standard definition. However, when used on HD televisions, the extra resolution of the television means that the signal will be displayed at its best. Compared to older analog televisions, you are likely to see an improvement in clarity, detail and color.

Televisions that are advertised as 100Hz, 120Hz, 200Hz or higher all use computer processing to add new images between the 50 or 60 images that are broadcast each second. They claim to deliver smoother movement and less flicker and in many cases they work very well. The quality varies between televisions so although a 600Hz television should theoretically be better than a 100Hz model, that is not always the case.

Before investing in a television, always take a good look at the image quality and compare different models. It's not always the most expensive television that looks the best.

You can go online or to any electronic store to buy a hdmi to vga cable. This is a cable that has the hdmi adapter on one end and the vga adapter on the other end. This way you can convert a hdmi device into a vga device.
