If you tested it with a multi tester it is OK, but if the TV is power on , capacitors is no longer working as normal. try replacing the bloated capacitors. Also, there are some capacitors that may have causing the problem. Try to replace the high voltage capacitors (light blue in color) located in the inverter circuit board. replaced all $ or 5 pcs capacitor. usually the value are 12pf by 3KV and 4.7KV by 3KV.

Digital TV is certainly better for watching a Bluray disc for one very simple reason. Bluray players normally have two types of output, one is HDMI (the digital output) and the other will be component or composite (the analog outputs).

For a variety of reasons, the high definition signal is only available on the HDMI output. One of the main reasons is that HDMI signals can be encoded to prevent the content being copied. The analog outputs cannot be protected in the same way and will only provide a standard definition signal. Although analog signals can deliver HD signals, manufacturers do not offer the facility.


Therefore, although an analog TV can display a Bluray disc, it will only ever be in standard definition. To experience full resolution, the TV must have an HDMI connector which of course means that the television is a digital model. The TV should also be HD capable to obtain the best quality.

No, Toshiba's firmware in their blu-ray players makes it so you need their proprietary wireless adapter. Sort of a rip-off since I can't find one for less than $80. I moved my cable modem & wireless access point next to my blu-ray so I can connect them with a cat-5 cable, instead of shill out more bucks than I paid for the blu-ray.
