It depends on which way the rotors are slanted.

They do not always "crash" in this manner. although when they do, it is mainly due the instabilization of the tail prop.

if the tail prop is not spining the rotation of the main rotor will force the helicopter to spin in the opposite direction, by air drag, the tail counterbalances this force.

The rotating blades are angled in the same direction (at about 35 degrees) and spin fast enough for the air pressure beneath the helicopter to be higher than above so much so that the helicopter lifts off.

This will mostly depend on weath(wind/tubulence mostly). and in these conditions. the skills of the pilot. if perfect weather(for flying) until it runs out of fuel, or become unstablized.

During the Vietnam War (the helicopter generation):

1. The heavy birds such as the CH-47 or the US Navy's CH53 Sea Stallion were used to carry large amounts of troops or cargo (like vehicles).

2. The medium sized chopper like the UH-1 Iroquois (Huey) carried just about everything else, and was a great infantry (grunt) insertion aircraft.

3. Light birds such as the OH-6 Cayuse and OH-58 Kiowa were like sports cars, dashing about (like a bee) and they were used for reconnaissance and artillery spotting (adjusting cannon fire & aerial bombs from jets). In fact the Cayuse REPLACED the US Army's first post WWII all metal fixed wing spotting plane...the O-1 Bird Dog in South Vietnam.

4. The AH-1 Cobra was the worlds first Attack Helicopter designed from the drawing board up to be used in general combat (an actual war, not just a quick military campaign). The Cobra (in Vietnam) was supposed to replace the US Air Force attack planes by being always on hand when needed (another words strictly for US Army support...and not distracted by other missions like the USAF may have had to do). The US Army called the Cobra "aerial artillery." However, in actual practice, no US Army aircraft could replace the firepower of the USN/USAF bomb carrying/20mm cannon firing jets of the Vietnam war.

There is no answer to this question, as it is like asking "Which is the best car in the world?" It all depends on what you want to use that helicopter for, and no helicopter can be very good at more than one general area.

In the same way that a Formula One racecar, semi-tractor trailer, luxury sedan, and cargo van all excel at what they do, and generally stink at what the others do, the same goes for helicopters.

Please re-ask the question in a more specific manner as to what mission (i.e. purpose) you want the helicopter to excel at.

The Agusta Westland 139 is a medium sized twin engine helicopter, built jointly by Italian manufacturer Agusta and the British Westland company.

You should make eye contact with the pilot and follow his signals. He may not want you to approach at all until he shuts down. Due to the way helicopter engines are cooled, this may take a couple minutes.

A Helicopter costs a lot in Russia (sorry I only got Russia's!) . A MI-8's cost will probably hover around 1,470,000 Russian dollars.

1. There is no such thing as Russian dollars.

2. 1,470,000 USD is too cheap even for used mi-8.

Mi-8 (or Mi-171) costs nearly 12,500,000USD if you buy it from factory.

No, the object would continue to fall towards the Earth due to the force of gravity, even if the helicopter is rising. The object's initial upward velocity from the helicopter's motion would not be enough to counteract the force of gravity pulling it down.
