How do you change your religion?

1. Pray

2. Leave your old Church, Temple, etc.

3. Start going to your new Churc, templ, etc. if it is allowed before you are a member or taking classes or whatever.

4. Do what the religion requires (the new one).

Then you are converted (some you just convert in your heart to)

Answer

You may change your religious views at any time that you wish. Infact, it is important that you look into other religions in order to get an idea of what they believe. And just because you believe a few things in the religion are true, but you dont necessarily agree with all of it, doesn't mean that you therefore can't be a christian, muslim, catholic, buddist, etc. Remember to keep an open mind about what other people believe, and if you are, for example, christian, but you agree with some of the teachings of, lets say, buddism, that's okay. Because you're taking bits of information and then making your own interpretation of it.

Why Henry VIII decided to set up the Church of England?

It was actually King Henry VIII and he actually did not create the church of England. The king did however seperate it from the Roman Catholic Church. He did this because he was dissatisfied with his marriage to Catherine of Aragon due to her inability to bear him a son and he was infatuated with Anne Boleyn, a younger woman. Because the Roman Catholic Church and Pope Clement VII refused to give the King an annulment (an end to his marriage), Henry VIII took religious matters into his own hands, separating the Church of England from the Pope's control and annulling his marriage to Catherine.

Why did Henry the viii keep getting married?

Why was Henry VIII so fat?

Presumably it was the result of over-eating.

Henry VIII did indulge in food, and drink, excessively, as he aged. One of the key reasons he gained so much weight, in the last years of his life was due to his lack of physical activity. Many are not aware that Henry was a lover of sports, and competition, and was an excellent athlete; and from the time he was a child, well into his late 30s, he continued to engage in a variety of sports, almost daily, until about age 44.

Also, Henry was a large man, even by today's standards, both in height and bone structure. By the time he was 18, he was 6'2" (188 cm).

Henry regularly participated in playing tennis, riding, hunting, jousting, and wrestling from the time he was a boy until he was injured while jousting, and had two bad falls.

At age 33, during a jousting tournament, Henry failed to lower the face visor on his helmet, and was hit in the head, above his right eye by his opponent's Launce. The injury was serious enough to have been the source for many migraine headaches, in years to follow. He also injured his foot, on another occasion, while playing tennis. He also developed increasing leg soars, likely due to poor circulation, and the use of leg garters. He had endured a few more injuries from falling from his horse, while hunting. When Henry and his entourage went hunting, the physical exertion was grueling, spending 10-12 hours a day in the saddle, for 4-5 days at a time. It was no wonder both he and his horse were injured during some of these hunting trips.

As Henry grew older, and endured physical injuries of one sort or another, he became less physically active. He always enjoyed his food and drink, and did not seem to tapper back on his intake, as he became more sedentary. Also, everything that Henry endeavored, he did to excess, giving 120% of his mental and physical devotion. This approach likely was not a good way to monitor caution, when others knew "it was time to slow down, or take a break".

The injury which truly ended all physical activity for Henry occurred in 1536 during a jousting tournament, yet again. He was in full armour, and his horse threw him, and fell on him. This caused a terrible head injury, where he lay unconscious for 2 hours. Many feared the worst. He obviously did recover but not entirely. He was not quite the same after this last accident. He still rode, and hunted but became increasingly sedentary, with each passing year.

Who was the uglyest wife of Henry VIII?

Anne of Cleves was Henry's least favorite wife. He liked her "not at all" . Even prior to their wedding ceremony he put his advisors to work, trying to get himself released from the betrothal. He tells others that she stinks and is not physically attractive. This is the only wife Henry agreed to marry before actually getting a look at her in person. She was also only the second of his wives that were from another country. Her portrait shows a pleasant faced woman, attractive in her own way, far prettier in my opinion than his fifth wife Catherine Howard. Henry never consummated his marriage to Anne of Cleves, leaving himself an out. If the marriage wasn't consummated, there would be no further heirs to the Tudor line and Henry's counsel wanted more males. Ultimately Henry fell in love again, quickly to Catherine Howard, Anne Boleyn's cousin and Anne of Cleves, perhaps relieved that she was going to keep her head agreed quickly to an annulment and lived out her days as the King's own sister, the Dowager Princess
