Holy Orders

There are no 'holy' people in Judaism. We worship only G-d. We have Rabbis, and they lead Synagogue services and officiate at weddings etc. But they are ordinary people, equal with all other Jews and all other humans. They do not act as intermediaries between us and G-d, we speak directly to G-d. The three sacraments you mention bring about an ontological change in the person receiving that sacrament, that are now something different from what they were before and will remain so throughout eternity. To TRY to repeat them is to commit a sin, an act of blasphemy that would show that you didn't believe God had brought about the change that He promised.

Canaan, part of Israel , was the Biblical (Promised land) it is also identified with the Biblical Wedding at Cana-probably the same place or a neighboring province, this was the site where Christ turned water to wine, his first public miracle. I have never heard of a Kan-an as you spell it religious order unless this is someting perhaps in the Coptic protocols. There is no such Roman Catholic or Russian Orthodox order by this name, there doesn"t seem to be a reason for it-Canaan or Cana associatd with a. Israel and B. Weddings-thje Catholics have capitalized the word Cana to refer to all marital affairs, such as Pre-Cana. Other chruches do not do this, it is the only nuptial event in the New testament. I have never heard of a Kan-an or similar religious orfder or even society.

In the Latin Rite only an unmarried man who has attained the age of 25 and completed 6-8 years of seminary training. He must be approved by the seminary officials, the vocation director of the diocese, and by his Bishop. He must not have any impediments such as same-sex attraction or other impediments, and he must have started to grow in the spiritual life and be living a good, Christian life.

In accordance with tradition, only male Catholics can recieve the Sacrament of Holy Orders, a call to the vocation of the priesthood (presbyterate) or diaconate. Because of this, Prince Phillip's mother could not have taken Holy Orders.

A LIMIT ORDER, also known as an "OR BETTER" order is a type of buy or sell order. It is a very commonly used Order Type.

A Limit Orders key feature is that you are NOT guaranteed a fill, but if filled you are guaranteed a price.

For example, you might place an order to BUY IBM at "$25 or better", (You can also say Buy IBM at $25Limit, it means the same thing). You are instructing the broker to BUY you IBM at a price of $25 or less. Note that if IBM never trades 25 your order will be canceled at the end of the day*.

On the Sell side, "Or better" is more. So for example, Sell IBM at $25LIMIT means get me $25 or more. So you will wind up with $25 or more IF you are filled, but if the opportunity does not occur in the market that day, the order will be canceled at the days end* and you will still have your IBM.

Unfortunately, I don't believe any orders of nuns or congregations of sisters accept women who have significant physical, emotional, or mental challenges. This is not to say that women with health challenges are not beloved by God, special, and good people; it is only because the life the sisters lead requires significant physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental strength, and the lives of the sisters are bound together in community: any health crisis affecting one sister seriously affects the lives of the entire community. Men and women with health challenges such as bipolar are often accepted into what are called Third Orders or lay confraternities of Catholic Orders. There are lay associates of Carmelites, Franciscans, Dominicans, and many more, who participate in the spiritual benefits of the Order, live out the order's charisms (gifts), participate in the order's spirituality and mission, but maintain their own homes, jobs, families, and finances. Most lay associates are healthy and active individuals, but some face health challenges that are well-controlled with medication.
