Look in your owner's manual. It always says in there somewhere. I didn't know this till my Honda dealer told me, and I've never run across a Honda since that this was not true for. I have a 2004 CR-V, and in my manual it's in the Instrument Panel section, under the Maintenance Indicator Light.

The following process worked like a charm for both my 2004 CR-V & the Honda Accord I had before it. See if it works for your Odyssey. But if it doesn't, I guarantee the info is somewhere in your owner's manual

1) Turn off the engine

2) Press & hold the Select/Reset button on the instrument panel (the bar-type button to the bottom right of the speedometer), then turn the ignition switch to on.

3) Continue to hold the button for about 10 seconds until the indicator light goes off.

Tire pressure control system

Yes, just yesterday I saw a 2003 Honda Pilot EX damaged on the front passenger fender/bumper. Both airbags (driver and passenger) were deployed. The seat belt for the driver side will need to be replaced if the driver was using it. The passenger seat belt will be fine if no one was sitting there. A friend from Oklahoma

Could have been damaged when tires were changed, they are very vulnerable during tire removal and install precedures. You must drive vehicle more than 5 miles per hour to reset light if light does not go out then check pressure again. then think about replacement of defective or damaged part. defect rare Also check air presure in spare tire!

I have a 2004 Honda Pilot. I googled how to replace the headlight and found some helpful answers, including answers on this website.

I am not a mechanic and I don't know if I did it right, but my headlights are now working.

I totally didn't think I could do it on my own and was prepared to have a mechanic do it for me, but it turned out to be really simple. The only thing is, ladies, your fingers and fingernails will be dirty if you don't wear gloves.

First, pop the hood. Locate the wiring that go to the light, which might be tricky if you're like me and have no clue what is under the hood. Put on fitted gloves.

Then, unplug the socket/wiring by just pulling it out (I'm not sure what to call it; if you google this, others might have the proper terminology). Then remove the round black rubber thing and put it somewhere safe - because if you drop it under the car/in the engine area, you might not be able to retrieve it.

There's a metal wire tab that is holding in the bulb. A friend of mine who was helping me thought we'd have to unscrew the screw to remove the metal tab. Don't do that. No need for any tools. Just lift up the metal tab.

Take out the old bulb. Put in the new bulb, making sure you don't touch the bulb with your fingers because the oils on your fingers will cause the bulb to burn out very fast. Hence, the gloves. Push back carefully the metal tab; it should just catch/pop back in. Put back the round black rubber thing. Line up with 3 prongs on the socket/plug the socket into the bulb.

It took me some time to figure out when to put the black rubber in. So, again, put the bulb in first, then push back the metal tab. Then pop in the black rubber round thing. Then plug in the wiring. Voila!

You probably should use a mid grade or premium grade gas unless you operate your Pilot at high altitude. Towing heavy loads at low altitudes while using 87 octane can cause the engine to ping or knock, particularly if climbing a hill. If you hear a knocking or pinging from the engine it means the octane is probably too low. Remember, knocking is the sound the engine makes because the gasoline is exploding instead of burning rapidly. When towing and you hear the engine knock try shifting to a lower gear and ease off the throttle a bit. That should stop the knocking, however it's best to spend a few extra cents per gallon and go with a better grade of fuel as long term damage can be done to the engine. Also, if you tow a lot, consider an after factory transmission cooler. Honda Pilots are not designed for long term use as a tow vehicle.

The clear covers for the license plate light bulbs have small arrows pointing in one direction. Simply push the cover to the direction of the arrows and the covers will slide off allowing for the old light bulbs to be replaced.
