because wen people think of death they think of the human body decaying so whats left, is the bone structure. Also the link with ghosts is the person has had a traumatic death so most probably will appear as skeletal at first before it has the chance to crosses over!!

yes it is no matter what you have heard the story is true but no one knows but Ichabod_Craneafter leaving sleepy hollow which is is now tarrytown new york. moved and started a family but he did not keep the same name but everytime the horseman comes back he looks for the head of a cran. because its been so long since he's seen ichabod. now people can say what ever they want about the story being fictonal all they want but my great grandmother told me that we are related to ichabod cran and he changed are names over i will always tell this storey to my kids to let them know about are history of a ledgend.

Now it's even harder to scare someone because we've seen pretty much everything they have to offer and imaginations are limited

Well, I'll recommend a book, but I'm pretty sure it's for teens and up, but anyway, if you like scary stories, there's a book called Limboland, by J.E. Deegan. It's a collection of small, scary stories.
