1000 mg vicodin (about 133 extra-strength pills) would stop any human from breathing. Without external breathing help, the subsequent anoxia would cause death. When a person dies his metabolism stops, and the vicodin in the system would stop being converted to vicodin metabolites. Without intervention, the body will decompose naturally, and any vicodin remaining in the system has three possible dispositions: it could be broken down by scavenger organisms like bacteria and invertebrates, it could spontaneously decompose due to, e.g., abiotic oxidation, or it could stay unmodified in the decomposing remains of the body. 1000 mg vicodin will stay in the body approximately forever.

I took a saliva test for a job screening. They do test for it specifically because I had a script for Tussionex, drank 40 mg amount in the AM, got the swab at 1 PM, and it was detected. I didn't care cus I had a valid script. The service called me, I told them I had a script for Tussionex, and he said good and that I had 5 days to fax the info. So don't think a saliva test will detect only real opiates like morphine and codeine. They can also detect the semi-synthetics.

You need to find out about the laws that govern medication from outside the country on the particular country you need to send the medication to so that you can know what kind of medication is allowed to and from the country and what payments or papers are required to go with it if need be.

Taking any kind of medication (prescription or not) with alcohol is a bad idea.

Both doses have the same narcotic value of 10mg which is the strongest; however, the other # is your tylenol ratio. The 650s have more tylenol so to be honest you want to stick with the 10-325 so they will be easier on your liver. Extended tylenol use can severely damage your liver.

Anti-Inflamatories such as Ibuprofen are not contra-indicated based on taking codeine. You would also be able to take Paracetamol (unless your codeine is in co-codamol). I would advise against taking Naproxen with Aspirin due to interactions and also Iburopen, as both it and Naproxen are NSAIDS. The use of these additional pain killers would be dependent on you own personal history of taking OTC drugs. If you are still in pain, despite your current prescription, I would advise speaking to your physician/pharmacist/pain nurse regarding a medication review.

Technically, there is no maximum (ceiling) dose for any of the pure opioid agonists - the dose depends on the opioid tolerance of the person taking the drug. remember that all opioids are NOT cross-tolerant... for example, oxycodone and morphine do not produce complete tolerance to each other...

however, hydrocodone presents an interesting situation among the opioid analgesics since it is RARELY (if at all in certain countries, like the US) encountered without acetaminophen (Hydrocodone/APAP, major brand name Vicodin) or another simple, non-opioid analegesic (Hydrocodone/ibuprofen is another, major brand name Vicoprofen)... ibuprofen rarely causes overdose problems (in order to have a serious problem, you're looking at a dose of 400mg per kilogram of body weight).

acetaminophen (called paracetamol outside north America - APAP as a generic term everywhere), on the other hand, happens to not only cause overdose at relatively small doses (6000mg - 6g in a day - that's 12 vicodin... each vicodin contains 5mg hydrocodone and 500mg APAP... each vicodin es contains 7.5mg hydrocodone/750mg APAP - that's EIGHT pills in a day to cause an acetaminophen overdose that will cause liver toxicity - not enough for death, but after enough time, no liver = no living... as far as single doses go, it's about 9000mg/9g - 18 vicodin/12 vicodin es), but results in a horrible, excruciatingly painful death by hepatic (liver) failure. when your liver fails...

(as it will with an untreated acetaminophen overdose - IV infusion of N-Acetylcysteine within 8 hours of ingestion is pretty much the cutoff point for saving your liver completely - and symptoms of the overdose usually don't show up until 24 hours after the drugs are ingested... so if you THINK you've taken too much - and you don't feel any symptoms of opioid overdose - like breathing problems, GO TO THE ER AND TELL THEM YOU TOOK TOO MUCH TYLENOL - after that, it's pretty much dependent on your own body's handling of the overdose... if you've taken too much and it's the opioid that's causing the overdose, you'll know right away and you need to have a few IV injections of naloxone - brand name narcan... until all of the hydrocodone and hydromorphone - hydrocodone metabolizes into hydromorphone, among other things - are out of your system completely. naloxone has a very short half-life... shorter than any opioid that it can reverse. it MUST be given repeatedly.) ...the only treatment is a transplant.

in short, if you have no tolerance... don't go above 10mg in a single dose if you want to be perfectly safe from the opioid effects... if your opioid tolerance is through the roof - but not with hydrocodone, do some research to find out the level of cross-tolerance and dosage equivalencies between the other opioids. if your hydrocodone tolerance is through the roof - and that's why you're asking this... just remember to do one of two things - don't go above 9000mg/9g of APAP (check the APAP content of the pills) in one dosing, or learn to do cold water extraction of the hydrocodone from the pills... you can find the methods for this online using Google, but unless you have a decent knowledge of chemistry, i wouldn't try it... because you will not remove the majority of the APAP correctly and/or you will end up with zero hydrocodone. I'm not going to try to talk you out of taking it - do what you want. just be safe.

You need to check with your pharmacist first. Amoxicillin should not be a problem but there are many forms of hydrocodone (combination products) so you need to really consult a pharmacist before taking any over the counter products especially Tylenol (Acetaminophen).

Generally speaking the answer is no. Talking opiates with benzodiazepines leads to greater risk of upper-respitory failure. There are some instances where a doctor could prescribe both, but the dosages would be very specific.

From a recreational standpoint it doesnt make sense, the xanax would mask the euphoria that one derives from an opiate.

Yes, a positive is a positive no matter what mg you have taken. If you are being tested and you have a legal prescription, it will not count against you as long as you can prove it to the person giving you the drug test.

Yes for LARGE enogh dogs that need it, but don't expect to get a prescription for it from your vet. I informed my vet that I had a some Vicodin and wanted to know if I could give my dog one of my pills when needed. My vet said "yes, it was okay". However, you should discuss with your vet, as it all depends on the breed/size, type of pain, and the dog's current life expectancy. Example: Vicodin will not work for inflamation, and could be toxic for little dogs. My dog is a 90 lb, 11 year old, golden retriever, who has transitional cell carcinoma which has spread. I only give her one maybe once or twice a week when she is having a really bad day. She does very well on them, often going from lethargic on the couch panting to wanting to play/cuddle/sometimes sleep. It would NOT be safe to give to a dog daily, or over a long period because of addiction/withdrawls/damage to liver (as is the case for humans). Nor would it be wise to give a human dosage to a very small animal, because of possible overdose. An alternative pain medication, more readily available, and recommended by vets for pain control in dogs is TRAMADOL. Talk to a vet about getting the right dosage based on your pet's weight. To be honest I'm not sure why you would try that unless you wanted to try to kill it or give it mental problems when its born. If you take vicodin at all your going to harm it but snorting it your goinging to increase its strength ultimatley doing more harm whoever wrote this isn't very educated on the matter, i know several people who have been prescribed hydrocodone while pregnant, myself included. i think snorting it would just make it hit you quicker not stronger. what happens while you take opiates while presgnant is you may become addicted and make your baby addicted if you keep doing them until you deliver.

Lortab is Hydrocodone. Oxycodone is a bit stronger. 1 and a half times more strong is an average. The 2 meds are both partially synthetic opioids but they work a bit differently in the brain to provide pain relief They will show up differently in a urine test as well if the proper test that differentiates is used.
