Hydrocodone m357 5mgs. Most over-the-counter cough syrup medications have ibuprophen, or a similar drug, in them already as an inflamation reducer and pain relief. Look at the directions that came with your cough medicine, as a list of all included medications should be listed. For a more complete answer, and before taking most medications, see you doctor.

No, considering the fact that Morphine is more synthetic. It would make you more addicted even though you would take less. I am on both morphine and vicadin, and trying to taper with 11 pills left total, and don't see any possible way. Methadone would be your best bet since it is a opiate blocker, and can keep the withdrawal symptoms at bay for 24-36 hours. The worst part for me is the not sleeping and pain magnefying.
What are the long term affects of taking Vicodin for pain besides addiction?
It is all connected. As tolerance increases, the dosage must be increased to reduce the pain, which causes further increase in tolerance. Increased tolerance to any drug is usually the first distinct symptom of addiction.
Skelaxin is a muscle relaxing medication used to treat muscle spasms or soft tissue injuries. It relieves pain by releasing the tension in the muscle. It will not relieve any other type of pain. It is not a narcotic, but requires a prescription for use. It is not considered a medication that is typically abused, since it is not associated with any type of a high and does not produce a hypnotic state. It does contain a sedative like quality.
Hydrocodone, or vicodin is a narcotic. It relieves many different types of pain. When taken as prescribed, is does not usually create a high or hypnotic state because it is relieving moderate to severe pain. If taken when NOT in moderate to severe pain it does contribute to the desired effects an addict finds tempting. When taken as prescribed for chronic pain, it is NOT addicting, but the body does develope a DEPENDENCE on the medication, which is very different to the dependence an addict developes. Even when prescribed, a person should always carefully evaluate the severity and type of pain, and consider if something else might be just as effective. The body will develope a tolerance for hydrocone over time, and will require larger doses to equal the same relief, therfore ongoing evaluation is very important. Chronic pain should be actively treated with a doctor or with a pain management center.
An important note: 1 tablet of vicodin also contains 500mg of Tylenol. When used in moderation, Tylenol (or acetaminophen) is a safe and effective way to treat pain. However, no more than 4,000mg of Tylenol should be taken in any 24 hour period, and should not be used at these levels on a long term basis because permanent liver damage may occur. You doctor may prescribe 1-2 tablets of vicodin every 4-6 hours, but you may not have more than 8 tablets in any 24 hour period. If you are finding your pain is not relieved and are taking the maximum amount of vicodin daily, talk to your doctor about other pain medication which contain less Tylenol that may be more suited for you. Also, you should NEVER drink with any type of pain medication, but especially medciations containing Tylenol. Alcohol and Tylenol are lethal to the liver, can cause acute liver failure resulting in the need for a transplant.
ANY scheduled narcotic will result in a positive drug screen. Routine drugs screens generally do not test for non-narcotic medications, although if you eat poppyseed breads and rolls reguarly, you will test positive for opiates.
This is a narcotic subscribed to only certain patients to treat pain. This type of pill holds 5mg of codone and should only use as prescribed. People often overdose on this pill because of the acetaminophen (Tylenol) in it. Be careful if you choose to use this drug because it can be very addictive.

This medication because of the OXYCODONE is highly addictive, and people tend to become abusive towards it as they earn tolerance, once you start taking something long enough (a few weeks) You have considerable short-term tolerance and need to take more of the medication for the same old effects, NOT recommended see you doctor before randomly increasing this medication.
In short this medication is used to treat moderately severe to moderate pain. (E.G Broken bone)

This didnt answer the question I am wondering if it could make my fertility pill not work
I am assuming this poster has never studied organic chemistry above the intro level gen-ed science that is needed for humanities majors. Now only do some drugs work less effectively after their expiration date but they may in fact degrade into toxic substances that should under no circumstance be consumed. While it is unlikely that a drug that has an expiry date of, say, 3/27/2010 would immediately become toxic on 3/28/2010, it could be that the levels of toxic by-products begin to accumulate after 3/27/2010.
Even though you are saying they are just after a buck, considering people sue drug companies for experiencing side effects they've been warned about, it is unsurprising that a drug company would want to err on the side of caution when it comes to expiry dates.
