How soon after taking ibuprofen can you breastfeed?
No. Aspirin is not recommended for breastfeeding mothers. Paracetamol or Ibuprofen are safe alternatives for pain relief.
I am not a doctor or midwife or anything like that, but I would not recommend it. When you're breastfeeding, everything that you consume is passed to your child through your milk. I don't think that it is very wise to pass any medications down to your infant. To be on the safe side, contact your doctor or your baby's pediatrician.
Call a qualified medical person. If you don't have one, go to a free clinic or local health department.
I am not a physicain, but I am a pediatric nurse. I would not recommend Aspirin while you are nursing. Tylenol and Motrin are safe. In certain instances Aspirin is linked to Reye's Sydrome in children, and it is passed through breastmilk in small amounts. I recommend to my patients, just to be safe, take Tylenol or Motrin instead.

20000mg in 24 hrs is a severe overdose! Immediately take activated charcoal and seek medical assistance.
The maximum dose for self medication should be below 2000mg over 24 hrs, with no single dose of more than 400mg.
The direct analgetic (pain killing) effect does not increase with doses above 400mg, however, doses up to 800mg show an additional anti-inflammatory effect.
Can vicodin and gabapentin be taken together?
My Dr/Surgeon prescribed Lyrica for my leg pain after a spinal fusion and I specifically asked him this question because I had been taking vicodin for pain. He said it would be ok to do so. Which is more potent Motrin or tramadol?
These are two drastically different drugs. Ibuprofen largely decreases prostaglandins and works at the site and on inflammation. Ultram primarily blocks sensory information to the brain and the perception of pain is decreased. I wouldn't compare these two drugs. The answer to your question is better addressed in regard to why you are taking either of these.
