If you stop taking ibuprofen 48 hours prior to surgery are you okay?

Yes, it's better than if you didn't stop using it at all that is. BUT, I've had numerous procedures and they tell me 5 days is the magic number for some reason. It is a blood thinner and they don't want people bleeding during surgery for sure...so check with your doc or a nurse to see if 48 hours is ok to be sure.

Can silver sulfadiazine cream be used on the tops of both thighs for severe sunburn while taking 20 mg of predizone daily and also taking 12.5mg of methotrexate weekly?

I was not able to find the exact information you are looking for, however I did find some info on sulfadiazine. which amounted to Avoid using any sulfanamides. I wil put a link in the related links below named (methotrexate ⇔ sulfadiazine) and wil also put the drug interactions site I got it from below that, (named Drug interactions with methotrexate) If I can make a suggestion. Being in basically the same situation as you I have found that metho trexate can cause skin irritations to linger and have been prescribed steroidal cremes to take care of it However aside from the stuff not being particularly good for you it is also expensive. I have now replaced it with tea tree oil and it works like a charm. In the case of the sunburn try hitting it with aloe vera, straight from the plant if you can, or get some creme that contains alloe vera. Tea tree oil would tend to sting a Little on the burn.

There are no known interactions between sulfadiazine and prednisone

However, this does not necessarily mean no interactions exist. ALWAYS consult with your doctor or pharmacist.

Sulfadiazine is in the drug class sulfonamides.

Sulfadiazine is used to treat the following conditions: Rheumatic Fever Prophylaxis, Toxoplasmosis, Toxoplasmosis, Prophylaxis.

Can you take midol and midol pm?

I've taken midol plenty of times on my period, but I've only taken one once. It makes the headaches and aches go away. Some medicines may contain a blood thinner, so you want to be careful of what you take and how much.

How do you buy one?

Sorry, is there something I am missing here? How do you but one WHAT?

The only drug I know that is available in Germany and no other European country is Boehringer-Ingelheim's DICODID, 10mg tablets used as a prophylactic for a chronic, severe, hacking and painful cough. When mixed with 180-325mg paracetamol, this drug, known in the USA as 'hydrocodone' but whose approved name is dihydrocodeineone, becomes a mild opiate analgesic suitable for mild to moderate pain.

If that's what you mean, then let ME know where I can buy a supply, because I have been looking for five years since my old supplier, Easypharms, closed down. Apparently now the German health authorities have reclassified Dicodid as a 'narcotic' making it more difficult to access. Shame, it's the best antitussive in the world, and certainly helps my chronic back pain. Not nearly as strongly as OXYCODONE but better than its parent drug, dihydrocodeine. Kills the two birds with one stone if yiu add about 250-300mg paracetamol into the mix. I would be delighted to be able to get a monthly supply, or a three month supply, 270 tablets, which would work out cheaper since it's not so expensive in packs of 100 than the usual 30s, and there is nothing in EU Law to prevent me from getting a supply of up to 90 days' worth. More than that would require export and import licences, 90 days or less only needs either a letter from the doctor or a photocopy of the actual prescription. This applies to all medicines moved within the EU.

Is Asprin NSAID?

Yes it is, via Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asprin

Aspirin is part of a group of medications called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), but differs from most other NSAIDS in the mechanism of action. Though it, and others in its group called the salicylates, have similar effects (antipyretic, anti-inflammatory, analgesic) to the other NSAIDs and inhibit the same enzyme cyclooxygenase, aspirin (but not the other salicylates) does so in an irreversible manner and, unlike others, affect more the COX-1 variant than the COX-2 variant of the enzyme.[12]

How long should it take to get an answer on a voluntary dismissal of a Chapter 7 bankruptcy?

Normally takes a week or so. It depends on if the Judge orders a hearing (which some do, some don't).

If there is a hearing, normally a few days later there will be an order to dismiss.
