When you play hockey, you sweat. Your sweat is getting absorbed by your equipment and does so the entire game, even when it's just sitting. The smell is dried up, old sweat.

Couple of solutions are hang it up after you play regularly or get it cleaned by a hockey shop.

Based on the brand mentioned (Nike/Bauer) I'm going to venture a guess that these are roller hockey skates. In which case, the brake would be absent as all roller hockey skates are manufactured without a brake. It wouldn't be impossible, but you'd need more than the basic components of the hockey stick to make one. If you manufactured such a device, you'd also be required to get NFA licensing for it, since such a device would fall into the little-known about 'AOW' class.

Ok i always wax my own laces because you save lots of money a year. what you have to do is get some transparent wax ...next pour some into a little container...next through your laces into it and then take them out (make sure they are very soaked) next put them in a washing mashine (still with alot of wax on it) and then you put the option drain and spin (or something like that) then when its done throw them in the dryer and there you go..... when you take the laces out of the washing mashine it might still be unwaxed but when it drys you will feel it!!

Well personally I've seen people tape there sticks for inline hockey< but i think it slows you down. however it keeps your stick from wearing down so it lasts longer

if your a 8 to 12 year old then get a junior 13 and up then senior stick. cut it were its the length of your chin.

if you have a left stick your left hand goes low ( not to low ) on the stick and your right hand on the top of the hockey stick, for a right stick it's the opposite of holding a left stick, to tell if you are a lefty or a righty with a hockey stick try this both ways with a right and a left stick to see what is more comfortable for you.

While Xenith helmets are a great product you would need to look at the National Instatute for Saftey to see the test results for reduction of impact the helmet that reduces the most impact would be considered the safest
