Does a person on probation get credit for street time in Idaho?

Short answer no. Long answer it depends on if they are on probation or parole. Probation means the judge has control of the situation and you are not entitled to anything because you aren't physically confined to a jail cell. If you are on parole the parole board has the ultimate power. They can choose to give you partial or full credit based on whatever factors they deem relevant. You are not entitled to "street time" in any way shape or form because Idaho law states that unless you are literally physically detained in a jail, prison, or other facility you are not actually serving a sentence.

Has anyone used Metro Service Center in Dallas TX for a watch repair?

I've used it for my watch before, it's really easy! You can either download the form and send it in yourself, or take it to your local Fossil store and they send it in for you. It typically takes 2-4 weeks to get your watch back. It's $45 for several brands of watches (except Michael Kors, which is $60) and this fee is to replace the crystal, case, band/bracelet, battery and includes shipping. Battery only replacement is $18.50. There are many other fees, just go to fossil repair page on their website and look for the repair form. It's so very easy, I used the 4" by 11" (give or take) size box, put the form and check in a ziplock baggie, the watch in a second baggie (hate to get anything wet if it rains....) and I put both of those bags into one more bag. I blew into the watch and final ziplock bag to make them like cushions. I laid napkins in the bottom of the box and sealed it up. All this was taped up real well in the box and mailed via USPS WITH TRACKING AND INSURANCE. Very very important to get tracking and insurance so make sure you ask.

How have people adapted o the land in Idaho?

In southern Idaho, the bulk of the state, the land is fairly flat like the midwest states. They have roads, highways, convenience stores, gas stations, and Burger Kings, just like anywhere else.

Northern Idaho is more mountainous, so other than using good quality snow tires, and having tire chains ready to put on in a moment's notice, there is not much difference from other places. In fact, northern Idaho's climate is fairly warm due to the weather almost always blowing in from the Pacific Ocean, about 400 miles to the west. But we still carry tire chains, plus we carry an extra warm quilt or two, and extra mittens and knit hats in the pickups. Or cars. There are more 4-wheel-drive vehicles here because of the snow (and mud from melting snow)
