In the top right hand corner it should have your screen name and it should say your screen name with three links below it: dashboard, my account, and sign out. Click on my account and you should come to a menu that has a few links on the left side. There can be glitches and it is possible that it can crash. My friend had IMVu and she had to uninstall it because it froze. Otherwise, this is a brilliant game and I recommend it.

IMVU has no real point, besides to dress yourself, decorate your room, get credits, and chat. There is no storyline, plot, nor objective. It's rather pointless. So, to directly answer your question, IMVU is about nothing.
