Additionally, candidates must meet age limits, physical fitness standards, and pass various selection tests, including medical examinations. Citizenship is also a prerequisite, with candidates needing to be Indian nationals.

Ex-servicemen dependents may be eligible for certain job benefits, but typically they cannot claim the same benefits twice for the same program or opportunity. Eligibility often depends on specific regulations set by government or military organizations.
