The pigs walk to the processor and then after being cured, it walks to the store.

AMD chips have consitently had issues in many brands, particularly HP notebooks and desktops. For whatever reason, there always seems to be a problem with systems that have AMD processors.
Intel on the other hand is consistently superior, even if the specs don't often match up with AMD. Bottom line is that Intel has the quality assurance and design to keep pumping out solid chips. AMD doesn't.
Can diablo 3 run on Pentium 4?
Yes it can. But it may be choppy during co-op and if there is rain or snow.
Can you run Windows 98 on an Intel Pentium 4?
Yes. A Pentium 4 would more than meet the minimum requirements. Some of the last low-end computers with Pentium 4s were sold with Windows Vista. If you are performing an upgrade on an older computer, you will also want to consider things like RAM and your graphics card in your decision.
What does INT actually stand for when referring to an IV access device?
intravenous needle therapy
This is actually incorrect. Another member answered this question correctly:
I had this same question, and found a reference to INT with regards to IV access on this website:
http://faculty.mercer.edu/summervill_j/iv.htm
I could not find it anywhere else!
It describes Peripheral IVs with INT in parentheses.
INT is the abbreviation for "intermittent needle therapy." This is when an IV catheter is inserted and capped off to be used at a later time for intravenous medication administration.
Which is better for gaming a 1.6 ghz dual core processor or a 2.6 ghz single core processor?
First you must understand that with the new Core processors, Intel developed an entirely new architecture. Meaning just because it runs at 1.6ghz, it still completes more operations per second that the 2.6ghz model.
Now, if we compare applications performance, the dual core will always win, especially with multiple applications or multi threaded applications. There are only a few games that support multi threading as of now, but even so, in the future most games will, and they will take advantage of that second core. Since the new architecture of the Core line is so great, your 1.6ghz dual core will stomp the 2.6ghz P4 into the ground.
Hope this answers your question :)

I disagree with Rob. While the average user will find the 1.6Ghz dual core to be faster, the 2.6Ghz Pentium 4 can utilize hyper threading. Using Linux you can optimize and access greater hyper threading (if your BIOS supports it) than windows. http://software.Intel.com/en-us/articles/methods-to-utilize-intels-hyper-threading-technology-with-Linux/
this is just a taste
If you become familiar and apply more advanced and specific hyper threading to programs you use all the time, a 50$ Intel Pentium 4 3.8GHz CPU off eBay will give a 300$ 1.6ghz quad core a run for its money.
Hope this enlightens you :)

Improved Answer
A dual core CPU means that the processor (chip) has two cores built into it. You can think of a core as a brain, which allows the processor to do more calculations at once. If you yourself had more brains, you would be able to do more at once. It is the same concept with processors. Having more cores doesn't actually mean you have a better processor though. Since an Intel i5 can take on an AMD 6 core processor.
Original Answer
it is a single cpu with multiple cores that work together. i am building a computer that has an 6core AMD processor in it. there is one cpu that i put in.

Can mac snow leopard be installed on an intell laptop?
Apple's Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) can be installed on an Intel laptop if the laptop is made by Apple.
What is core i3 530 safe temperature limit?
65c should be fine for 24/7 usage.
75c or even 80c under Prime95 should be fine for office/gaming/media PC as normal programs/games wont stress it that much.
According to Intel, temps above 73c may reduce life time of the processor, but those CPUs are designed to last many years so crossing that temperature from time to time shouldn't cause problems, but don't expect to run i3 530 (or any other i3) at 80c 24/7 as CPU may simply die after a year or 2 of such usage (or a month if you're unlucky). The i3 CPUs are also set to automatically throttle at 105c and running at such temperature for a few minutes usually shouldn't kill a CPU but it is NOT 100% safe.
Is it possible to have a dual OS in a single dual processor motherboard?
Yes, you will just have to choose at startup which system you will use.
duel booting is a service through which we can install 2 or more OS. but for this we can install one SOS(Simple Operating System) and one NOS (Network Operating System) that's it.
How do you use multicore processors efficiently?
It really depends on how you use it. If you are just running Microsoft Office, it makes little difference in performance. I edit video and graphics for a living and having a Multicore processor is vital. It really speeds up the whole process. For instance on my old computer it took about 15 minutes for a 1 gigabyte Photoshop file to open. I have since upgraded hardware and software. It now takes about 45 seconds to open.
Having a 64-bit operating system that takes advantage of Photoshop's processing power is also a huge plus.

If your computer has a Intel celeron D 3.2 GHz processor and 224 Mg of Ram could it run WOW?
The minimum specifications for World of Warcraft Cataclysm (the latest expansion) are:
Windows XP 32bit (SP3), Windows XP 64bit (SP2), Windows Vista 32bit (SP1), Windows Vista 64bit (SP1):
Intel Pentium 4 1.3 GHz or AMD Athlon XP 1500
1GB or more of RAM
NVIDIA® GeForce® FX or ATI Radeon™ 9500 video card or better
DirectX-compatible sound card or motherboard sound capability
25 GB free hard drive space
You must have an active broadband Internet connection to play
It is possible that a PC with the system specifications as listed in the question might run Classic WoW, but on your system even with all setting turned low, the game will not run or run very awkwardly.
Is it possible to put a amd processor in place of an Intel?
No, it is not possible to substitute an AMD processor for an Intel processor on the same motherboard. The two processors use different types of mounting sockets, so they are incompatible. It would be akin to trying to put an alternator from a Ford into a Toyota. If you want to move to AMD, you would need to replace both the processor and the motherboard, possibly the RAM as well (depending on whether the new motherboard uses the same speed and type of RAM as the old motherboard).
How can you determine the duration of one T-state?
The duration of one T-state is one divided by the clock frequency, or two divided by the crystal frequency. This is for the 8085.
What is core i5 i4 i3 in computer?
A standard processor had one core like in P1, P2, P3, P4. It means it can performed only one task at a time. Now to make computer able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously it is being manufactured with multiple processors.
A Dual-core processor has two cores.
A Quad-core processor has four cores.
An i3 processor has 2 cores.
An i5 processor has 2 or 4 cores (depending on the model you have.)
An i7 processor has 2, 4 or 6 cores (depending on the model you have.)
