What is the smallest size a full bathroom will fit?

A tub is six foot long, so if you have the tub along the end of the room, then the minimum width would be six feet. You could possibly fit in a small sink and toilet if the room is 7 foot long, but it would be tight. Also, you would have to make sure that the door would clear the toilet. Renting, or buying, people do not want the smallest possible bathroom.

Who lives in mud huts?

Mud huts were commonly used by ancient Indian tribes in the Amazon and throughout central America. These tribes include the Mayan, Inca and Aztec tribes.

The stair tread depth is typically- more than the run so that it sticks out nose?

Nosing is not taken into account when calculating initial stair set-out, but added later.

The rise of a residential stair in the US is 8" and the run is 10" with a nose of 1". This means that the tread depth is 10", the height from stair to stair is 8" and the tread sticks out 1" over the the tread below. It is still 10" from front to back.

A commercial stair is 7" rise, 11" run, 1" nose.

Use of weight hanger?

Does brushed steel look the same as brushed nickel?

Brushed steel and brushed nickel are popular finishes because they are good-looking and long-lasting. Both have similar surface qualities, because the same method is used to "brush", or finish the surface of the metals. However, the metals themselves have a different color: while they are both silvery, steel appears more blue (colder) than nickel, which has a more golden (warmer) hue. This is why nickel is generally used in period decor, while steel conveys a modern feel. They both react differently to magnets, too, so if you require a surface on which to hang Junior's latest art project, you'd better bring a small magnet to the appliance store to be sure. An important point to ascertain from the sales rep is whether the brushed steel you are looking at is in fact stainless steel - superior in almost every way to cold-rolled (non-stainless) steel, but much more expensive, and also non-magnetic. Stainless steel is not reactive to most of the damaging substances it would encounter in a kitchen or bath, for example. Also note: the brushed finish on these metals is a practical solution to their malleable nature - they will scratch, dent and show fingerprints. Newer brushing methods claim to reduce fingerprints, but let the buyer beware. In fact, bring Junior with you to the store and let him put his little hands all over the appliances. "Stainless" does not mean "maintenance-free", and isn't the idea to reduce your work? Both materials do make lovely and versatile finishes, and will last for decades.

What color carpet goes with sky blue walls?

I'd say white or gray, maybe even yellow. It depends on what room you're talking about and how big it is.

Install ceramic tile?

The key to how to lay ceramic tile is preparation and having the right tools.

1. Measure opposite sides of the room and mark the centerof each side. Snap a chalk line between the marks. Measure and mark the center of the chalk line. From this point, use a framing square to establish a second line perpendicular to the first. Snap a second layout line across the room.

2. Check for square with a 3-4-5 triangle. Measure and mark one layout line 3 feet from the center point. Measure and mark the perpendicular layout line 4 feet from the center point. Measure the distance between the marks. If the layoutt lines are perpendicular the distance will be exactly 5 feet.

3- Lay tiles and spacer along one line from the center to the wall.

4- Divide the floor into manageable boxes, roughly 2-feet-by-3-feet for setting the tiles. Begin by laying out an L shape in the center of the room. Use the chalk lines as a guide, and separate the tiles with spacers.

5- Measure both branches of the L from the center to determine the size of the boxes you will lay out on the floor. Add the widthe of one spacer to each measurement.

6- Remove the tiles. Lay out a chalk-line grid, with each box the size of the sample you measured in Step 5.

7- Do a dry run to determine the placement and cuts. Place a row of tiles along each line using spacer.

8. To set tiles after proper preparation of the surface, begin at the center of the room and work out. Follow working lines and keep tiles aligned with plastic spacers.

Convert 154cm into feet and inches?

1 cm is roughly 0.4 inches so this is (0.4 in/1cm)*154cm=61.6 in. Since there are 12 inches in a foot we only need to divide by 12 to get feet. I get 5.1 ft or 5 ft and 1.6 in.

How big is a square inch?

Does a duvet stop the real warmth of the down comforter?

On the contrary, a duvet (comforter cover) should increase the insulating properties of a down comforter, if only a little bit, by adding another layer of fabric. A down comforter keeps us warm by trapping small pockets of air in great numbers, which heat up quickly and stay next to our body. Another layer of fabric would trap even more air. That being said, I will admit that some types of fabric feel warmer than others - silky fabrics are woven tightly from smooth fibers, which don't trap much air at all, so the duvet might feel cooler against skin. One way to remedy this is to use a flannel sheet between the body and the comforter. (The opposite works as well: if you find a comforter too warm at night, use silky sheets and fold the comforter down to the foot of the bed, releasing body heat to the air.) Cheers to you for adding another layer of warmth rather than turning up the heat!

What is the square footage of a room 14 feet by 28 feet?

What is the size of a mudroom?

In the military a mud room is enormous. In a home it is smaller and depends on the size and circulation frequency/patterns of your family.

What are the disadvantages of using ceramic tiles for flooring?

They are brittle - hence if something drops they break and are prone to such breakages near edges and corners, they need a skilled mason otherwise they give away on their own ( after a few years). If they have a design imprinted over them and the building is frequented by a lot of people the design wears away. As they are slippery, moisture/water can cause slippage and possible hip/head demage. The only +ve thing is they are washable - even with acid.
