What are the disadvantages of using ceramic tiles for flooring?
They are brittle - hence if something drops they break and are prone to such breakages near edges and corners, they need a skilled mason otherwise they give away on their own ( after a few years). If they have a design imprinted over them and the building is frequented by a lot of people the design wears away. As they are slippery, moisture/water can cause slippage and possible hip/head demage. The only +ve thing is they are washable - even with acid.

A door is undercut sometimes in a very small room such as a closet to allow airflow in or out of the room without putting in ductwork and air vents into the room. Sometimes a grille is put in the door to serve the same purpose. Undercuts and grilles in doors are not always allowed in rooms like utility rooms or storage rooms because the room might have a fire rating and the door would then need to be fire rated. If an undercut is allowed make sure that the door threshold doesn't then get installed and cut off any air flow that might have been needed with the undercut.

Does your door finish have to match your door frame finish?
Not at all
I've seen doors done in a natural finish hung in painted frames that looked great.
and doors done in the same color as the walls while the door frame was in the trim color.

Well it depends, do u have a rocking chair in the corner by the winkdow or a ceiling fan? If so the accent colored wall should be the empty one. But if u have a vase of flowers on ur coffee table by the closet,it depends on what color the flowers are. If they're red blue or green it should be the wall with the closet. If they're any other color and its summer time it should be the wall with the windows. And lets see if u add another window it could also change the effect of the rooms atmosphere, so u wouldn't want an accent colored wall.

Choosing the wall the accent is a matter of guesswork, unless you are using some other ideas to set up the room, such as Feng Shui, or trying to make the room appear wider than it is. I painted the long wall that did not have a wall unit on it a periwinkle blue and it warms up the room--better than all beige or making the entire room the same color. A friend of mine used a dark brown on one end wall to make the room look wider. Of course, windows and doors will entail carefully painting the edges. A bare wall may require two coats to evenly cover the area without streaking.

How do you clean battery acid from garage concrete floor?
I have over a decade of experience in specialized concrete restoration and here is your answer:
1. If your concrete is white, the sulfuric battery acid was extremely concentrated and has probably created a micro-aggregate or "etched" surface. The white you may (or may not see) is called an amorphous paste and is a by-product of the reaction between the acid and calcium silicate/lime/minerals in the concrete.
You MAY be able to pressure wash the "white" out if it is not stained too badly. Chances are though, that the white staining will be permanent. I have seen concentrated battery acid work its way through an entire 4" slab of concrete.
2. If the stains are orange, dark orange or reddish brown or streak down your entire driveway you have battery acid "burn." Do not confuse "burn" with "rust". Although they look alike they are very different. Anything off the shelf that is a concrete "rust" remover will only remove a portion of the stain, create a white spot around the stain or may even turn the stain MORE orange.
DO NOT USE HYDROCHLORIC ACID! I've seen many "Do-It-Yourself" answers that say to use HCL. This answer is straight up WRONG. Hydrochloric Acid, also known as "Muriatic" or "pool acid" will eat the top layer of cement. HCL will also turn the concrete white- but only because it has left a white residue in the cement. This is another example of "Amorphous Paste" and can easily be pressure washed out, revealing the orange acid burn again. HCL only removes a portion of the stain and it's because it's eating the top layer of cement! The stain you have goes much deeper than HCL can get to and you will expose yourself to serious harm if you get HCL on your skin or breathe in the vapors.
