The average human's IQ is 100. This would be the mediocre, not fair or poor. However, most people now a days have a little over a 100 like 110.

I love these questions, the ones for which there is no real correct answer. An average person's IQ, twelve years old, female, male, thirty seven--doesnt matter--a normal Stanford-Binet IQ will be in range somewhere between about 90 and about 120. Anything lower could mean some slowness, anything higher some sort of giftedness. In my, in this case, overly qualified opinion, Mensa tests and things of that nature only test what people who write Mensa tests and things of that nature think a person should know.

you can go to Google and type in: free I.Q. test. there are dozens of results. the drawback is that they ask for your email to in order for you to get results, and then they jam your email with junk mail!

Those free IQ test are stupid, they are a merchandising lure. Only a qualified specialist can administer and interpret an IQ test. If you're still in school, see if the school counselor is qualified to give you the test.

The circumference of a circle is the perimeter of it, so, perhaps, if your teacher ask for the circumference of a triangle he/she might mean the perimeter of the triangle.

IQ scores are converted from the raw score of the test to a standardized scale, wherein everybody can be compared and applied to a normal distribution. We know that many things are normally distributed when enough of a sample has been examined. This is also the case for the IQ. Thus, we can compare your score to everyone else (even if they didn't take the IQ test) based on the likelihood that the population distribution of scores is normal. Somewhere along the line somebody decided that 100 would be average and 15 would be the standard deviation. Now everybody is compared along the same scale using standardized scores.

IQ is not based on age, it's based on intelligence.
