Why are you a Christian when you are supposed to be a Muslim?
Muslims believe that God's purpose is for all of us to be Muslims. For them, Christianity is a false faith, claiming Jesus to be divine, so a high ideal is to convert Christians to Islam.
Neither faith can disprove the claims of the other without undermining the entire basis of religion. I am neither Christian nor Muslim.

Zakat or alms-giving is the practice of charitable giving by Muslims based on accumulated wealth, and is obligatory for all who are able to do so. It is considered to be a personal responsibility for Muslims to ease economic hardship for others and eliminate inequality.
Zakat consists of spending 2.5% of one's wealth for the benefit of the poor or needy, including slaves, debtors and travelers. A Muslim may also donate more as an act of voluntary charity (sadaqah), in order to achieve additional divine reward.
There are two main types of Zakah:
- First, there is the kajj or Zakat elfitr, which is a fixed amount based on the cost of food that is paid during the month of Ramadan by the head of a family for himself and his dependents.
- Second, there is the Zakat on wealth or Zakat elmal, which covers money made in business, savings, income, and so on. In current usage Zakat is treated as a 2.5% collections on most valuables and savings held for a full lunar year, as long as the total value is more than a basic minimum known as nisab (three ounces or 87.48g of gold). Many Shi'ites are expected to pay an additional amount in the form of a khums tax, which they consider to be a separate ritual practice.
There are four principles that should be followed when giving the Zakah:
1. The giver must declare to Allah his intention to give the Zakah.
2. The Zakah must be paid on the day that it is due. It could be arranged to pay it within certain Hijra month every year.
3. Payment must be in kind. This means if one has a lot of money then he needs to pay 2.5% of his income. If he does not have much money, he needs to pay in a different way. For example, if he has a lot of cattle, then he pays in cattle instead of money.
4. Some say (not sure personally) that the Zakah must be distributed in the community from which it was taken.
What do Muslim men think about non Muslim women?
All mankind, males and females, are equal in Islam. The only difference between a woman and a man in Islam is the physical differences related to the organs of production which in female have more effects on her daily prayers if she has mensturation. Mensturation can prevent her from doing her daily prayers until she is pure whe she start again but should not go back and compensate for the previous prayers she lost. Only fasting must be compensated for.
The rest of her life and worship acts are exactly the same like man.

Islam respects previous revelations such as the Torah and the Bible and previous ones. As such, a Muslim husband will allow a his Christian or Jew to practice her religion freely without any problem. Yes we prefer that she convert to Islam, better for her as she will become a believer as should be according to the old scripture, but she will not be obliged to do so. Children will of course follow their father in his religion and eventually become Muslims. How do Muslims honor their dead?
Muslims honor their dead, mainly, through the following:
- the dead is ritually washed and clothed in a special cloth
- the dead is carried to a mosque and the people in the mosque, in addition to his own mourners, perform special prayer for the dead asking Allah (God) to forgive him/her and bless him/her with his mercy and with accepting him in the Paradise.
- they pray for him/her also during burial.
- they gather at the nearest evening for condolence and to listen to Quran memorizing him.
- they remain through all their lives praying for him/her and all other dead Muslims.

Muslims after death will be judged by Allah (or God and same God worshiped in Christianity and Judaism) on the Resurrection Day. That is totally crap! For one Muslims can fast whenever they want. Rahmadan would be the only exception with which it is obligatory for the Muslim to fast the entire month of Rahmadan during the daylight hours only. And as far as the music goes, music is haram(prohibited) and there is no such thing as Allah songs. I think what the previous answerer meant was songs about Allah which still hold no merit of being permissable. The Quran is the word of Allah and when recited the whole book rhymes, which may sound like a song to someone who has not heard much of the Quran or who doesnt have a clear understanding of Islam or the Quran, which there is nothing wrong with.

The leader of Nation of Islam in 60s-70s was Elijah Muhammad.
He was born on October 7, 1897 and died on February 25, 1975. He was an African American religious leader and activist. He was the leader of the Nation of Islam organization from 1934 until his death in 1975 (at age 77).
