All of Sears JC Higgins rifles and guns were made by various manufactures using the Higgins brand name.

an all new model developed by Sears /High Standard replaced the old model 10 introduced in 1957 made only one year it was replaced by the improved version 583 1101 in 1958

This answer is not authoritative, but there is one advertised on the internet for sale in Washington State for $175.00. That may be reasonable, considering what it cost 35 years ago when I bought mine. People usually think of a pump action or double barrel, not a bolt action like this gun, so this is not the most common or popular format. It is a well-made and reliable hunting gun.

Depends on condition, but the short answer is not much. Seen them as high as $110 USD, as low as $25.

I am unable to Identify this Model. But I can tell you by the number it was made by Crosman Airgun Co. Are you shure about the numbers.

Crosman and Daisy Made Air guns for Sears under the JC Higgins name. All Crosman air guns for Sears began with 126.xxxxx and Daisy began with 799.xxxxx.

JC Higgins knives were made by assorted manufacturers like Schrade Walden, Camillus, Western and Case. These knives were produced to sell for less than the name brands for companies like Sears and Montgomery Wards etc. Most of these knives were produced prior to 1975. The values of these knives vary depending on condition etc. but you can expect them to sell for about 40% less than the same knife of the original manufacturer. I hope this helps

these were the first revolvers built by high standard manufacturing at the time of the 583 88 wich was around 1955 Sears owned High standard. in those days . One of these fine old revolvers in good or better condition shoul fetch around 125 to175 dollars

Is it a shotgun or rifle? Caliber/gauge? Not a model number I have seen. They are usaully marked something like J.C. Higgins Model 20, 101.1, 583.13, 583.2078 etc.. Without more info, no way to know who made it. Could be be Sako, Savage, Marlin, High Standard, Stevens

I have a J. C. Higgins model 10516 with the original 4X scope . The scope mount says J.C. Higgins 4X PATD , MFD by W.R. Weaver Co. El Paso TX. IT also has N3 stamped on the mount. Hope this helps.

The JC Higgins 12 gauge pump action shotgun, model 20-1264 583.55 is valued at $175 in excellent condition. In fair condition, it is valued at $90.

Numerous companies at the turn of the century made inexpensive firearms. No way to know if there are no other markings.

105 is the Sears vendor code for Harrington & Richardson these are quite rare for J C Higgins only a small amonut of 22 rifles and shotgun were bought directly from H&R H&R made many of the model 10 shotguns for High Standard wich was owned by Sears in those days most of thouse guns used 583 House brand number less than 800 guns were bought directly from H&R by Sears in the post war JC Higgins days 105 is the vendor code there should be other numbers these tell you what model the gun is 105 just says that H&R made it value is unknown with out more info

your gun was made by Savage arms in the 50s Vendor code 101 means Savage Stevens model 16 means model 87 semi automatic 22 cal .These were very accurate and reliable rifles These guns were made in huge numbers and parts are readily available. Parts and stocks are avaiable from Numrich arms gun parts corp..West Hurley NY. I have found this supplier very reliable . Remember 101 16 is really a Savage Stevens model 87.
