What did president Kennedy die from?

President Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963. He was shot and killed in Dallas, TX while riding with his wife Jackie in a motorcade.

John Fitzgerald Kennedy was riding in an open-top limousine in a Dallas, TX, motorcade on November 22, 1963. Inside the limousine, Texas governor John Connally and his wife were in the front seat and John and Jacqueline Kennedy were sitting in the back seat. When they entered Dealey Plaza three shots rang out. The first shot (also known as the magic bullet) went through President Kennedy's neck and apparently struck Governor John Connally in the lower back and arm. The third shot struck President Kennedy in the head, blasting away part of his skull and brain. The President was then rushed to Parkland Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead after a priest administered the last rites.

At the time of the shooting, Lee Harvey Oswald was believed to be Kennedy's assassin. This was the conclusion of the fact-finding Warren Commission. However, several theories regarding the people and circumstances surrounding President Kennedy's death have arisen over the years.

What was john f Kennedy's biggest challenge as president while he was in office?

One of the biggest challenges he faced was the fact he was Catholic. The country never had had a Catholic president and there was a great deal of discussion about it. He also wasn't in the Senate very long and, like Obama, there was discussion about experience and how young he was. I think the biggest factor in his winning over Nixon was the first TV debate. Nixon looked like he was dead and Kennedy was young vibrant and real. When he won he still faced some of the same issues, but he headed into fray. He appointed his brother Bobby attorney general and also brought in more of his political machine. He faced the fact the Russians were starting to spread out with missiles closer to the US, he had Castro to deal with, he and Bobby went after the mob and to get the unions out of control under the mob. He wanted to pass civil rights legislation and the civil rights movement was just starting. Viet Nam was in the works and he would have to decide how to deal with that. Put in more troops? or pull out? ( very similar to Obama in the East) Berlin was still divided by the wall and the cold war was starting to "heat up". JFK had a full plate.

What would the John F Kennedy inauguration speech on a vinyl recording be worth?

"Value" in collectibles does not only rely on how old an object is, but whether it is rare or common. John F. Kennedy died in 1963. Though this seems very long ago, it is not "old" in the world of collecting.

Also, recordings were more easily made between 1940s-1960s and more people were making audio records. For example, girlfriends and wives used to make "records" at the local drug store to send overseas to soldiers in the war(s). As well, JFK was a highly popular President whose words resonated across the USA. So a recording of JFK is not rare.

You might want to keep it in your family. In another 50-100 years, it might be rarer to have a copy and thus increase in value. But for now, it is not worth much at all.
