King Khufu ruled for twenty-five years and became king at age 16.

He was one of three rulers in the fourth dynasty of Egypt around 1200 B.C. He is also known as Cheops, which is the Greek name for him. His biggest achievement and legacy was the Great Pyramid of Giza which is the largest stone structure in the world, and is one of the remaining Seven Wonders of the World. Khufu was a very rigorous ruler and forced men to work unpaid labor on this pyramid only for a very scarce amount of food.

Khufu's kingdom was in the upper Egypt at that time the Egypt was divided into two parts upper Egypt and lower Egypt so Khufu ruled the upper Egypt

King Tutankhamun's tomb contained over 5,000 artifacts. If you ask any Archaeologist, they will say each one is a priceless treasure. The items in the tomb would have been used in the Pharaoh's afterlife and included everything from loin clothes and furniture to shabtis who would have provided all manual labor. The tomb also included items to give safe passage to the afterlife and protect the Pharaoh from harm. Of course, it also contained the mummy of the Pharaoh, himself, not to mention a whole lot of gold!
