What is the compromise of the KKK?
I am working on a NHD project about the conflicts and compermises of the KKK. The compermise was actually BEFORE the conflict. When the slaves were allowed to be free, alot of white men thaught that that was wrong and they needed to protect their families and kill all the blacks. But the compermise was at they didn't. At first the KKK were just a harmless group of bored group of rebels doing normal teenage pranks . They never planed to hurt anyone, until one of the mebers let in some new Klan members that wanted it to be alot different, and their plan worked. Now the KKK are hated.
Actually, i found this website somewhere recently(im doin the same project) that listed the few positive things they have done like provide a turkey to a poor black family for thanksgiving.
Birth of a Nation
Which groups are the KKK opposed to and why?

For the most part, the Ku Klux Klan no longer exists, so it is neither good nor bad. At the end of the American Civil War, vagabond solders and other groups tyrannized parts of the South. The established civil authorities were unable to protect the people. At that point the Ku Klux Klan formed in secret and started fighting back. It started out as an organization to prevent terrorism. It served a good purpose. After it had solved the original problem, it continued to meet. At that point it became a terrorist organization. General Forest ordered it to stop meeting. It took it a while to wind down.
Right after World War 1, a number of communist led riots occurred in the United States. Open warfare existed. The Klan came into existence again to fight an enemy that the government could not fight. This time the Klan was headquartered in Indiana. Many of the battles involved an alliance between the Communists and the Labor Unions. To stop the pitched battles, Congress passed an immigration bill to keep more Communists from Eastern Europe from entering the United States. When the Democrats got rid of the Communist, Henry Wallace, the Vice President in 1944, the Communist danger within the United States had passed. The Klan no longer had a reason to exist. The Klan again became a terrorist organization. As a result of a number of arrests, it has wound down. Now the Klan does not really exist as such. Occasionally a group forms, but it does not stay formed for long.
Many organizations used the pattern followed by the Klan. A terrorist group or some terrorist activity exists which the established government can not or will not control. It is illegal or extremely dangerous for anyone else to try to do anything about it. Some men get together in secret and create a secret organization to solve the problem. The secret organization starts killing the bullies and terrorists. When all the bullies and terrorists have been killed, the secret organization does not disband, but remains a viable organization. Then it becomes like the organizations it opposed.

What did the KKK do to black people?
The objective of the Ku Kux Klan, and other white supremacy groups, was to terrorize blacks into a secondary or subservient role. This was intended to prevent blacks from gaining wealth, authority, or elective influence. In times of economic hardship, they were determined to have employment opportunities and government that favored whites. Accustomed to blacks as slaves, they did not relish having them as equals, or as masters.
Violence by the the Ku Klux Klan took the form of shootings and cross-burnings to intimidate the black masses. They were also fond of a method of torture called "lynching". They would not only hang the blacks, but would storm their houses and drag them from their beds in the dead of night to do so, often in front of their families. They would murder as many as they needed, to maintain their atmosphere of terror.

Republicans were the target of the attacks of the original Ku Klux Klan which formed in 1865. Since Republicans freed the blacks from slavery, blacks wanted to vote Republican, so the use of the Klan by the Democrats kept them in fear of voting.
The second and third Klans were hate groups against blacks but also Catholics and Jews.
Explain Reconstruction what it was and why it was needed and obstacles in its way?
This question deserves an answer longer than is possible here. Reconstruction had several major goals. These included ensuring that slavery was completely ended, helping rebuild the industry of the south, getting crops planted again, making certain that the secession movement was completely disbanded, and getting the railroads and ports operating again. Reconstruction was essential because almost the entire ability of the South to support its people was destroyed in the war. Railroads were nearly gone, as were many docks and bridges. Crops had been burned and never replanted. The United States desperately needed cash to pay back war debt, and the South was the source of around 80% of the export income for the whole country. It was essential to make certain that tobacco, cotton, and grain could be produced and sold to foreign buyers. Reconstruction aimed at helping with all of this. As with any major government-led program, Reconstruction was very attractive to people who would cheat and steal from the projects. Many of the managers of various projects aimed at helping were either incompetent or were more interested in helping themselves. Many southerners deeply resented Federal aid and actively worked to stall Reconstruction projects.

How did the ku klux klan advertsie their klan?

it was founded on 12/24/1865 in Pulaski, Tennessee, a group of Confederate veterans convenes to form a secret society that they christen the "Ku Klux Klan."
That may have contributed but the major factor was that the leader was implicated in a major moral and legal scandal that discredited the Klan.
What things did the KKK do to frighten the people and maintain over non-whites?
They beat whipped and gunned African Americans. They also burned cross on their lawns.
The KKK were a very hateful group who considered everyone who was not white and Catholic "impure." They killed many people who were not "pure" and separated many families. You can think of them like "American Nazis." You could argue that these people were just trying to spread their religion and their pride, but they hurt/killed many innocent people. Today, they do not pose as much of a threat and do not kill people, so they are considered legal. But I believe they are just using freedom of speech to their advantage. Freedom of speech has been stretched too far. As for "maintaining power over non-whites" they didn't. They were not trying to spread an empire of white people, they just believe that they are superior. They did frighten people and kill people, but they were never like a government. Sometimes they could control people in a way by saying if you do this I will kill you. Or sometimes, they would threaten the safety of people who were very close to the person who was doing something "wrong." Most people in the KKK had very serious mental disorders and did not understand that they were killing others. The KKK, however, obviously was not very proud of their actions because they wore masks, hats, and long flowing robes that protected their identity. If you believe so strongly in something that you would kill a person, you should not be afraid to reveal your true identity.
