no there is not a difference in personality by the dogs color because if you read on other websites, you will see that all dogs are the same depending on how you train them, other wise the only difference is how a labrador looks from one another...

Apollo, Jupiter, Ambrosia, Quartz - pretty much anything that reflects the coat color. Also, anything that reflects the dog's breeding (such as a modification of a parent's registered name) works.

Depends on the breeder. An okay breeder will charge $250-300. A great breeder will charge much more. If you are buying from a breeder, make sure the parents have hip, elbow, and eye certifications. Labradors are prone to hip and elbow dysplasia as well as blindness. Certified healthy parents will safe you a LOT of money down the road and are well worth the extra initial price of $450-500 or so.

Another thing to consider would be whether the parents are papered (AKC, UKC, etc). That will also cost more.

A Labrador Retriever is a fine jogging companion, as most of the sporting breeds of dogs would be. Even little dogs can be great joggers and there are many, many mixed breeds and hybrid types that would be excellent.

Generally during their second season (i.e. when they're on heat) around 18-24 months of age. After that it's best to give her at least one if not two seasons without pregnancy before mating again. Most labradors should only be mated/have puppies 4 times for optimum results and for the general health care of your dog. There is no sure fire way to tell how big your dog will be exactly, however you can come up with a generally idea.

The first thing to do is to figure out the breed. If the dog is a mix try and find out at least one of the breeds. If you look up that breed on the AKC website the range of the height and weight of the dog's breed should be listed in the breed standard.

If you can look at the dog's parents size. Generally the puppy will only grow to about their size.

A lab greyhound mix is a dog that has the coat of a lab combined with the sleek, lean body of a greyhound. These dogs have long backs and long tails. Despite its name, Labradors come from Newfoundland of Canada, but since there is already another breed called Newfoundland, it is named after a location which is very close to its place of origin - Labrador!
