This is a tough one. You can get the urine out of the cloth, but usually it seeps down inside the batting and foam. The best thing to do is get a carpet cleaner to come in and have them do some deep cleaning on your furniture. After it's dry use "Febreeze" spray to get any odors out. I own pets and even though my dogs and cat are very clean, I put blankets on my furniture and take them off when company comes. This also is a good preventative measure if one of friends is coming over with her kids and they have their shoes on or have an accident. It's easier to wash the blankets and cheaper!
Yes. Warm water. Dry until COMPLETELY dry. If really large, use the front loaders at the laundromat. Put a couple of tennis balls or clean sneakers in the dryer to break up the clumps.
*Some* dry cleaners will take feather-filled bedding *if* it is completely enclosed in a case (many feather ticks come with a large zipper covering that can be removed).
Try fingernail polosh remover, a product called goop-off, or mineral spirits.
I heard that you should dab a little vinegar on all of the the shiny area before you wash it and a little more before you iron it (iron it on the wrong side, inside out) if it still is shiny.
Follow the care label. If there is no care label dry cleaning is the safest way to clean it. If you don't want to take it to dry cleaners then wash in cold water and hang to dry then iron on LOWEST setting. If lowest setting is still hot then iron it with a cloth between the iron and table cloth.
To get the oil out , put baby powder on it, let it soak up the oil, shake off excess, ( this works best when stain is fresh, and wont work on silk) then launder in machine but pre- treat with a stain remover first. Machine wash it at the highest temperature allowed. for the shirt. Put bleach on it if its a white shirt that can take bleach. before machine washing.
I don't wash my douvet. I put it in the dryer in a Dryel bag and clean it that way. Mine is Down. With Down Alternative, you should be able to wash it in cold water in your washer. Then partially dry it on "air", then hang it to dry the rest of the way. Do not do this with Feather comforters.
Red punch can be extremely hard to get out of carpet. You can try with a solution of warm water, dish soap, white vinegar and rubbing alcohol.
Soak the cotton in hot water, leave it for 5 mins. Then, add 5 tablespoons of salt to the water, leave for another 5 mins. Then, add washing powder/bleach and gently scrub until stain is gone. 04wilsonm
Step 1: Blot away any excess grease or oil with a paper towel. Try to remove as much grease or oil as possible.
Step 2: Cover grease or oil stain with baby powder. If you do not have baby powder use cornstarch or salt.
Step 3: Remove the baby powder, salt, or cornstarch from the clothing with a spoon or a paper towel. Do this CAREFULLY, avoiding any spillage onto any other parts of the clothing.
Step 4: Work a small amount of dishwater detergent and water into the stain with your thumb. Once the detergent starts to foam, take an old toothbrush and begin rubbing stain in circular motions. Be sure to attack the stain on both sides of the fabric.
Step 5: Wash the clothing alone, with laundry detergent. Follow washing instructions exactly. Allow the clothing to air dry
If its a white shirt, bleach it.
If it a colored shirt, use Clorox.
If its a small stain, use a Clorox magic pen.
apply rin active soap on the effected part and wipe it. If none work, buy a new one. I found that Dawn brand detergent works better than anything elso for removing grease stains.
On-premise laundry means that there is a laundry facility on the property. The term is often found in apartment listings, where it means that there is a washer and dryer available in the building or complex, but not necessarily in the apartment unit. It does not say anything about what it costs to do the laundry or whether it is safe to leave your laundry in the washer or dryer.
There’s really only one way to fold a fitted sheet without succumbing to the frustration that usually accompanies the task.
The elastic bands do present an issue, see, and most of us end up shoving unfolded linens into our closets. That wastes space, and it’s completely unnecessary—folding a fitted sheet is fairly simple, once you’ve mastered the technique.
Here’s the best method:Folding a fitted sheet isn’t actually difficult, but it requires some precision and attention to detail. Practice a few times, and you’ll get the process down.
To see this in action, here’s a helpful video from Living On A Dime.
I always get it from Marche Sofia on Salaberry.

any recipe calling for corn starch, yes. I believe it is called corn flour in the UK, while in the US Corn flour is what we call masa harina. Confusing the two will not have good results.
Hope this helps!
Since this is a popular item in Mexico int the border states of the USA you can find this in grocery stores like Festia and other Marcado stores in the USA. You also can find it in some Walmarts. eBay also is a source
Removing cigarette odor from clothing is really really really hard. Ordinary washing DOESN'T work!! Some people say fill a bath with warm water and put vinegar in it - hang clothes above bath to absorb the steam and that gets rid of it. Some say put baking soda on them and then vacuum them the next day (not sure how that works!) and the last method I have heard of is putting bleach/vinegar in with your laundry.
1.OPEN YOUR TISSUE FULLY
2.FOLD IT INTO A TRIANGLE
3.TURN IT SO ITS TOP CORNER IS UP
4.TAKE THE LEFT BOTTOM FOLD IT RIGHT ABOVE THE RIGHT BOTTOM CORNER (it should look like two triangles above eachother
5.TAKE THE TOP AND FOLD SO THE FOLDED PARTS ARE UP
It is possible to remove paint from a wool sweater. Simply soak the stain in water, then use a paint scraper to lift off as much of the paint as possible. Then, spray the remainder of the paint with hairspray and let sit for 20 minutes. Finally, scrub the stain with a toothbrush, and it should go completely away.
No you shouldn't wash it. it would be kept much nicer if you had it dry cleaned.
I've heard to try this: First, rub ice on the wax. The ice will harden the wax so you can scrape off as much as possible. Then try placing a paper towel or two on top of the affected area and iron over it with a low heat. The iron is supposed to melt the wax and the paper towel should wick the melted wax away.
Cotton dries in both, washing machine and dryer.
You can expect new cotton clothing to shrink by up to 10%.
The reason for shrinking is the temperature: the higher, the more your clothing will shrink.
For most printers, your printer's driver contains a button that, when clicked on, tells your printer to clean its print heads. The steps to cleaning your print cartridge are listed below.
If the steps above do not resolve your problem, or there is no cleaning button in your printing preferences window, either buy a new cartridge, or take the cartridge to an office store (e.g. InkStop) and ask them to clean or prime it.
