If students ran the school, they would, inadvertently, "get rid" of any chance of having a future outside of the fast food industry. Children don't understand the importance of an education and view school as some sort of cursed prison.

If we're speaking strictly on moral grounds, it would be an opinion.

If wrong refers to "against the rules", then you would have to look at the rule book. If the rule book indicated such a thing, it would be a fact.

One constrant is that some students' parents may not value homework or might be at work when kids are doing their homework. That would leave some students without a way to get the assignment done.

Because, obviously you're not paying attention to what you're supposed to be learning, if you're talking about nonsense with others. Talking in class does several things: # You are not paying attention to what you need to learn # People around you will listen to whatever you are saying and miss what the teacher is explaining # The person you are talking to is not paying attention to what they need to learn # The teacher is not able to explain the lesson because someone else is talking when they are trying to explain

Your school has to set up online schooling, and you really need a good excuse. The only people I know who have done this have been seriously ill for a long time, or have real mental disorders that keep them from going to regular school.

If you're really behind, go talk to your teachers. Don't run away and hide in the computer. Tell them all your problems, and ask them to give you lots of extra work so you can make up your grades. Most teachers will be willing to help you out if you're willing to put effort into it!

I'm still in school, but yes you should assign homework. Even though most people hate it, including me, homework is extra practice. So that way, if you need help, the teacher can see or help you. Plus, it seperates the people who actually pay attention to the slackers.

You can study at any time of day that works for you. Many people study at night. So long as you are not so tired that you have trouble remembering what you have gone over, then it is perfectly fine to study before bed.

Edit: Studies show that studying right before going to bed is usually better than studying early in the day. Primarily because there is nothing new being introduced to drive the old memories out and secondly because your mind keeps thinking about the material while you sleep, potentially improving on your understanding of the material. Studying while stressed also increases your memory capabilities, thanks to the adrenaline that is produced when under stress. So if you're stressed for a big test tomorrow, study right before you go to bed for the best chance of retaining the information.

However, it has also been demonstrated to increase the chances of stroke.

Having said that, you can also get more stupid. There are several ways to avoid that. If you drink, stop it. You kill of an estimated 10,000 brain cells every time you drink, even if you don't get drunk. If you smoke, stop. You are actually constricting the blood vessels in your brain, depriving your brain cells of oxygen. I don't have to tell you what sniffing glue or other substances does to your brain. If you're a young person smoking marijuana, there's some really bad news: New studies have found that in heavy users, the brain structures actually change, permanently. IQ has been demonstrated to have dropped, as well as short-term and longe-term memory. Cut back if you're a heavy user; seriously.

Oh, one more bit of good news. If you continue to read and learn when you are older, it forces your brain to continue to develop more pathways, and the odds of you developing senility or dementia go down. So get back in school!
