The reason why the secret level doesn't work is because lvl_testplayground turns out that it's actually the black screen with the word saying "The DS Card has been removed." which anyone had encountered. Even though the DS Card was't removed, The secret level can be a test where there's a black screen with a word in it. There is nothing to do but reset your DS (or 3DS by holding the power button or going to home menu, or DSI by turning it off or going to home menu, or 3DS XL too).

Well, all you have to do is pretty much hold the joystick forward because it makes you go slightly faster and try to hit as many of those speed boosts as possible because the other guy can not hit them so that's what will make you win. Hope this helps!:)
