Look under the bed mattress, look under the bed, under chairs, couches, inside drawers, under car seats, etc. In other words, there is no electronic means known to man to find a device that is turned off and/or whose battery has discharged ... so, open your eyes and start looking around.

While there have been several accounts of mysterious moving islands in books, movies, and television shows throughout history, LOST is not based on any of them and is extremely unique in many different ways.
i dont think she is dead because she was alive when the bomb blew up so surely she would have been taken back in time as well. i dno, if she is dead im sure lost will find a way of bringing her back cos my theory is that everyone will be back for the finale series, :D how gr8
Lost fan favorite Kate Austen was played by Canadian actress Evangeline Lilly. Due to the fact that Ms. Lily's work visa was delayed almost cost her the role. The director had started auditions again, and after 20 auditions, to everyone's relief, Lily's work visa finally arrived.

Possibly the father of Jack Sheppard. He was apparently the person that Hurley saw in one of the shacks. MAYBE ITS ARON!!! HE WAS BORN ON THE ISLAND...LIKE JACOB
At this time, it's anyone's guess. Jacob, to me, is a sort of deity who exists on the island, but he could be something totally different. We only know for sure that he literally "touched" the lives of several losties, and that he has an antagonistic relationship with the so-called Man in Black, aka the Smoke Monster. The Man in Black can take the shape of other, dead, people, so it could be conceivable that Jacob can do that, too.
Heroes star Greg Grunberg appeared as Captain Seth Norris.
Greg is also a member with Hugh Laurie (House) in the group Band From TV. Jesse Spencer (also from House) is a new addition.
As Jacob explained in the penultimate Season 6 episode "What They Died For," Kate was not a candidate because she was a mother. Kate had cared for Claire's son Aaron since Claire's disappearance near the end of Season 4.
Nestor Carbonell is Richard on "Lost". People may also know him as the person who lent his voice in "Kim Possible" as Señor Senior Jr.
Sawyer does not die in Lost. In the end of the show, you see Jack in a church with everyone else from the show. Even Sawyer and Kate are there, but they did not die. This is because eventually everyone from the show dies and they are all happy together in a purgatory. So, Sawyer eventually dies and is reinstated with everyone else. After everyone dies, they all move in to heaven or a better place.
Charlie Pace, Jack Shepard, Kate Austen, Hugo Reyes, Juliet Burke,
James (Sawyer) Ford, Benjamin Linus, John Locke, Richard Alpert, Claire Littleton,
Sayid Jarrah, Sun-Hwa Kwon, Jin-Soo Kwon, etc...
Yes, sadly, he dies. It's in the last episode of the last season,(season 6) and he was killed by the man in black. He had completed his mission, and the man in black dies too. The last shot of the entire series is Jack lying down in the bamboo grove where he first woke up in season 1, and closing his eyes in death.
