Luggage restrictions of KLM flights depend on the type of ticket purchased. Economy rated flights have a maximum carry on weight of 26 pounds and checked in luggage at 50 pounds. Business class tickets allow for up to 40 pounds of carry on and two checked in bags at 50 pounds each.

Check out their website. They constantly change their regulations and it depends upon your ticket (economy, business, etc.) and from where you are flying (North America vs. other places).

Start with combination 000, try the lock, then click up to 001, try the lock, then 002, try the lock, etc, etc. Keep on doing that until you've reached the proper combination. Even if the combo is 999, it should only take you about 6 or 7 minutes to work through all possible settings.

hey mate, i tried this... and you know wht... i was not able to open unlock it !! the issue was my code was 981 and by the time i reacehd there from 000 it was somthing that i didnt do correct and i missed it... coz, the numbers need to be in very exact position before you press the button(s)... doing it for all 1000 combinations is not foolproof..

bt, then how did i unlock it ! the engineer in me helped me !!

for my case it was the numberlock that engaged the zipper (lever of the zip that we pull) ::::: 0===O kind of shape... one end is hooked in the zip and we use the hole in the other end to engage in the lock... so we will call these two ends as zipend and lockend !

first thing, i used pliers to get the zipend disengaged from the zip, so that though the lock is not unlocked, and the zippers are locked in the lock from the lockend, i am able to open the bag... u need not damage the bag, lock or zip.... this is unlock process!!

then, check the lock assembly.. it should have one side inside the bag and other side outside the bag screwed together thru a couple of holes in the bag... unscrew it to get the lock off the bag...

all locks will be different from each other.. but they will have some opening or marking to hint the unlock setting.... and this setting is placed so that it will be visible only when u take the lock off the bag... check thru the openings/marks by changing the numbers and you should find some clue to know the unlock settings..

in my case, there were three holes... they were placed over on the circumference of the dials of the numbers... on a particular position of the dial/number it had a notch.. so that was it.. i set up all the three dials so that the notch was exactly under the holes... as soon as i did it for the third one (my lock was a combination of 3 numbers), a lever got engaged in the three notchs... and it was unlocked !!

i had to just see the dial to know the unlock code...

We need luggage tags to prevent our luggages from getting easily misplaced. Labelled Tags can be used to locate our luggages and prevent all the misplacing luggage troubles

Don't see why not ... the cabin pressure has been equalized to that similar of being on the ground. Flight attendants also open soda cans when serving beverages, too.

My frist time using my 25" Expandable Upright bust at the seams of the top outside compartment...I had to purshase a new 4 piece set in order to get a replacement for the damaged 25"piece...Also i notice that there is a warning tag on the 25" stating that the California Proposition 65: This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer or birthdefects or other reproductive harm...I found this out after i have given the two duffel bags to my grand-son and grand-daughther...Have i put my grands in danger?

Yes it is allowed in check baggage, it is also allowed in carry ons if its in a container that is 3 oz or less.

You should be able to, as an ink catridge is less then 100ml, but it will have to go in a plastic bag.

I would say maybe, but I'm not sure- you definatly won't be able to use it on a plane; but then again you can take a mobile phone ( or cell phone) in your hand luggage as long as you don't use it on the plane.

To reset your Elle luggage combination, locate the reset button or lever, usually found inside the zipper compartment. Press and hold the reset button while turning the dials to your desired combination. Release the reset button to lock in the new code. Ensure to test the new combination before closing the luggage.

yes you can, you just have to put it in the luggage thing at the top.

This would depend on the type of flight. First class flights for check in is 50 kls while economy class in 30 kls. This is only applicable for all flights except for US/Canada and Brazil. Australia flights also differ.

You don't "have" to. But if you're flying in/out of the US, the TSA may break your suitcase open to inspect the contents if you send it through locked. And you won't get any compensation for any damages.

One could purchase a Samsonite briefcase from Samsonite's own website. However, one could also make a trip down to a few large department stores such as John Lewis, House of Fraser and Macy's among others.

They don't weigh it. It has to fit into a certain space, that varies with airlines

Hand baggage: one piece at 8 kg

no sharp items - knives, corkscrews, etc.

No containers larger than 100ml containing fluid, gel, creams, jams

If you want to bring them into the cabin, they cannot be more than 3.4 oz (100ml). They also have to be secure in a ziplock baggy and displayed at the security check.

If you want to leave them in your checked-in luggage, pretty much anything goes, as long as it's not toxic, explosive or (highly) flammable or otherwise restricted.
