How do you know a spell is working?
usually there are subtle signs to point you in the right direction. Ex: you cast a rain spell. some signs might be, more moisture in the air (humidity is higher), there are clouds forming in the sky, and then the overall outcome, it rains.
Sometimes the simplest things can be a sign, such as a breeze blowing or running into someone or talking to someone who you've never met before and something they say will be a clue.
Keep in mind magic works subtly, and takes it's own time to manifest, you must be patient.
How can to stop black magic spells?
ONE QUICK NOTE. IF THEY PUT A CURSE ON YOUR HOUSE THEN THEY ARE NOT A WITCH
You could do a spell for yourself (the previous answer had some okay spells long but oaky) or you could get a "professional" witch to do it for you. Check out eBay (http://search.eBay.com/_W0QQsassZmoygo)

TO REMOVE A SPELL OR CURSE
BREAKING A CURSE
On the first night of the waxing moon, gather the following ingredients:
a square of black cloth a little larger than your hand.
1 tablespoon of curry
1 tablespoon of dill
1 tablespoon of vervain
1 tablespoon powdered ginger
1 consecrated black candle paper
and black ink pen
1 black string, knotted nine times
On paper, write the full name and birthdate (if known) of the person who has cursed you. Place the paper in the center of the bag. One at a time, add the herbs, covering the slip of paper. Next, take the lit candle and drip 5-10 drops of wax over the paper and herbs.
Visualize the person who has cursed you and say their name aloud three times while tying the bag shut with the knotted string. The final step is to bury the bag someplace on the property of the person who cursed you. The bag must remain there undisturbed until the next waxing moon. At that time, dig up the bag and burn the contents. This will weaken that person's power (usually until the night of the full moon) and the curse
REMOVAL OF A SPELL
Items: 3 cloves of garlic - water
Ritual : With water, grind the garlic into a paste. Rub the paste on the souls of the afflicted person's shoes, and on the front step of his(her) home. Create a blessing with the Sun retribution Symbol invoking enlightenment and clarity. This will negate earth spells.
REMOVAL OF A SPELL 2
Items: Oil - 1 white candle - 1 black candle
Time: Full Moon
Ritual: Rub and light the candles, saying :
"On the Eve of ( ) I cast a spell And the effect I created I must now quell. Specifically ( ) May this spell be lifted And I now be gifted specifically with ( )"
REMOVING HEXES / CURSES
Materials: Old Cooking Pot Black Candle Water
Get yourself an old cooking pot, place a black candle in the center, fill the pot with water until it is 2" below the wick of the candle. Light the candle and say:
"If truly hexed or cursed I am, let it break with quench of flame".
Then stare into the flame and see all the negative energy being drawn into it. When the candle burns down to the water level, and the flame sputters out, say: "So mote it!".
Dig a hole and empty the water into it. Now bury the candle. It is done.
REVERSE A SPELL
This is to be used to reverse a spell cast upon a person, and return the spell upon the one who cast it. WARNING: Because of the Law of Threes, depending on the strength of the cast spell, this could cause great harm to the original spell-caster. This should only be used in dire need.
You will need a cast iron cauldron, a pile of oak wood, some mistletoe herb, water and 2 - 5 pounds of salt.
Collect the hair, nail clippings or anything of the person upon whom the spell was cast. Consecrate the ground and cover it with a layer of salt to prevent evil from interfering. Pile the Oak wood and light it. Place what ever was collected from the person into water in the cauldron and boil. Add mistletoe and perform an incantation. The spell is reversed.
As with any spell work, it were best to perform the spell inside a cast circle for protection.
TO BREAK A SORCERER'S CURSE
If you feel that a sorcerer or sorceress has placed a magickal curse upon you, your home, or your family, perform this curse-breaking spell just before midnight on the last night of the Full Moon.
Light a new white candle and burn any of the following incense in a fireproof container: cloves, frankincense, hyacinth, lilac, pine or sage.
Hold a lucky rabbit's foot charm over your heart and repeat the following incantation thirteen times:
"With rabbit's foot and magick verse I turn around this wicked curse. As these words of mine are spoken Let this evil spell be broken."
Repeat this spell nightly (using a brand-new candle each time) until the phase of the New Moon. Wrap the leftover wax from the candles in a white piece of cotton and then bury it in the ground in a secret spot where it will remain undisturbed.
TO BREAK A VOODOO CURSE
On a night when the Moon is in a waning phase, take a blood root (a favorite Voodoo root used for breaking all evil spells and hexes) and throw it onto the doorstop of the person who has placed the curse upon you. You will then be released from his or her magickal power and the imprecation will immediately be turned back to the sender of the curse.
A SPELL TO BREAK THE POWERS OF A SPELL
If you believe that a spell has been cast against you, place a large black candle in the cauldron (or a large black bowl). The candles must be tall enough to extend a few inches above the cauldron's rim. Affix the candle to the bottom of the cauldron with warmed beeswax or the drippings of another black candle so that it will not tip over.
Fill the cauldron to the rim with fresh water, without wetting the candle's wick. An inch or two should remain above the water. Deeply breathe, meditate, clear your mind and light the candle. Visualize the suspected spell's power as residing within the candle's flame. Sit in quiet contemplation of the candle and visualize the power flowing and growing within the candle's flame. (Yes, the power against you) As the candle burns down, it's flame will eventually sputter and go out as it contacts the water. As soon as the flame has been extinguished by the water, the spell will be dispersed.
Break your visualization of the spell's power; see it explode into dust, becomin impotent.
Pour the water into a hole in the ground, a lake or stream. Bury the candle. It is done.
TO REMOVE A HEXED / JINXED CONDITION
Although it is relatively rare that someone is truly hexed, it does happen. Also, it is important to note that the mind has a very powerful effect on the body, so if you believe yourself to be hexed, in effect, you are...This spell will remove any hexed or jinxed condition, whether real or imagined.
Fashion a poppet out of white felt or other white material. Stuff the poppet with vetivert herb, and place on your altar. Inscribe your name on a purple candle and annoint the candle with an appropriate oil. Visualize as strongly as possible the hex upon you...feel its power and the strength it has had over you...Now take a handful of garlic powder and sprinkle it over the poppet, while strongly visualizing the hex/jinxed condition being broken. Put as much feeling and emotion into this process as possible...now relax...allow the candle to burn down completely. It is finished...the hex is broken...so mote it be.
TO REVERSE A CURSE
"This spell on me I return to thee, To thee who hast so ill-wished me. So mote it be" (x3)
Forever. If you're a Christian, how do you think God created everything? By clapping his hands together and everything just sprung from his mind? That's very Zeus-Athena-ish, don't you think? If you have a link to Ancient Egypt, how do you think the pyramids were built? On pure human strength? Not likely. Strengthening spells and potions must have been used.
How to lift a witchcraft spell?
Get a Black Candle, and a Cauldron or a Bowl. The Black Candle should be taller than the Cauldron or the Bowl.
Fix the Candle in the middle (bottom) of the Cauldron or the Bowl.
Fill water to the brim of the Cauldron or the Bowl.
Concentrate on the black magic cast upon, and its effects.
Concentrate on the black candle and send all the energy to the black candle with then negativities of the evil spell.
Think that all the effects of the black magic spell will be burnt down as the candle burns.
Light the candle and think taat the spell will be broken.
Let the candle burn till the water flows in and extinguish the flame.
Dig a hole on the earth, as far from your home, where noone will dig again, preferably a forest.
Put the water in to the hole with the candle (remaining peice).
Close the hole and know that the evil spell is no more...
For good results, do in the wanning phase of the moon.
Blessed Be!
ANOTHER THOUGHT
Some people are not comfortable with practicing magic, to counteract magic. If you are one of these people, it is not necessary to do any of the above.
First be sure there really is a spell.
- If someone told you they put a spell on you, confront them and have them lift it. You are in no danger if you did not give this person specific permission to cast upon you. Magic is something that needs your co-operation. And if it is a negative spell the practitioner is in more danger than you are... those of us who actually do this sort of thing are aware of a little thing called the Rule of Three.
If you just "think" there is a spell, either because things are going wrong in your life or because you need an outside cause for your misfortunes, I would suggest you rethink your diagnosis. Most magical practitioners (not the dabblers or whannabees) are ethical and honest people. We do not randomly go willy-nilly casting evil spells on people, even the ones who have been nasty, unkind or even evil to us. Sometimes bad things happen to good people. Unfortunately that is the way of the universe.
If you are still convinced there is a spell, and you are not a magical practioner yourself, the best thing I can suggest is to use your own personal spiritual path as a shield. Holy water, symbols of your faith etc. all work without you having to dabble in something you are unfamiliar and un-prepared to work with.
========================
Traditionally people have made "witches' bottles". These consist of a bottle filled with a mixture of your own urine, hair, bodily fluids etc. plus sharp objects the belief being that this would turn the spell back against the perpetrator. It then needs to be concealed usually by burying.
This are often found in archaelogical digs from the 17th century.
Personally I think this is complete rubbish but if it makes you feel better I am sure it will not do any harm and it is an historically accurate answer.
What are spells to get your crush to like you?
I have had this happen before...you have a crush on this really cute guy or girl but he either likes someone else or he just doesn't like anyone. My spell is flirt a little bit but not to much and if he/she asks for help or anything realted help him or her. Be nice and don't become a desperate jerk. Be patient and stay calm.
There are a few tips to get him/her to start to like you instead of someone else. They are listed below.
Thanks for the advice!!!!! :) I know you might have laughed at the spell part, but hey it doesn't hurt to try lol. The guy I like lives in my neighborhood and I believe his b-day is the day before mine. It seems meant to be :) Anyway, thanks again!
What is the Christian view of magic?
If there are then they do not understand the Scripture. Suggest reading Exodus 22:18; Deuteronomy 18:9-14; 1 Samuel 15:23 and 2 Chronicles 33:6 to get a general sense to how God views sorcery, witchcraft, magic, etc.
Many do not understand - until it is too late - that the occult takes people away from the true God and exposes them to the often—unrealized dangers of a sinister spirit world.
Can you put magic in a magic wand?
The results of attempting to do magic will be about the same whether you use a wand or not.
Wands are indeed used in many traditions of Wiccan and Pagan witchcraft, but not all practitionners use them. The wand is a tool used in ritual to direct energy and to draw symbols in the air; it represents either Air of Fire (this depends on the tradition). Witches may replace the wand by the athame (a ritual knife or dagger) or even by a pointed finger; in fact, many witches don't even own a wand. Remember: magic comes from within ourselves and from nature, not from the accessories on a witch's altar.
Is powers and magic the same thing?
actually no. Power is way more powerful than magic magic is made up just get you exited
How can you protect yourself and your loved ones from black magic?
There is no such thing as black magic. It's a myth that older generation Hindu's use to believe in when things weren't right with their lives. It's also a superstitious belief among many cultures, such as peoples living in Africa, Haiti, and the southern Caribbean.
But, it's the 21st century. If ghosts don't exist, then neither does black magic.
Do magic eight balls really work?
They're real in the sense that they are a solid physical object that you can buy, but they're fake in the sense that they have no magical properties. The answers you get from them are random, and any semblance of truth is either luck or you rationalizing how the answer could be made to work.
How was black magic voodoo used in the 1600s?
Well, you were burned if found using any sort of magic, so I'd guess voodoo, or to cast evil spells against all who crossed to witches.
Another Answer:
Magic is the Art and Science of causing change to occur in conformity with Will. 'Black' magic is causing change that other people disapprove of.
In the C17th, I would be inclined to think the most common practices (in no particular order) were
- gaining knowledge by talking to angels, spirits or the dead
- finding treasure
- seeking immortality and eternal youth
- spirituality (loosely, what is called 'enlightenment' in Buddhism, etc.)
There was a distinct break between 'witchcraft' and what might be called the 'Hermetic sciences'. Witches were usually harmless women that fell victim to the envy or fear of others. If they did and/or knew anything outside of ordinary knowledge, it was probably what we would call herbalism and midwifery. No doubt a few, somewhere, turned their neighbour's cow's milk sour, and a few might have concocted a brew of hallucinogens in order to 'go to a Sabbat' and 'have congress with the Devil' - and I think, if I had been forced to endure the life of the average woman at the time, I would have been doing it, out of sheer frustration and boredom; but most owned land that someone else wanted, or looked a bit strange, or just upset the wrong person.
Yes it is as sad as it sounds i now a lot about magic/the craft i know that 90% of the people in the world is not doing real magic and if they are then they are getting little to no results because with real magic you must do the:mathematics, the probability, and you must have a strong will and a strong mind to do real magic because with power comes karma. So when you do the math and add in the probability(chance) and add in the knowlege of the true arts(color, images and so on) plus the will then you will have the results in some shape or form so to put it yes magic can be dangerous but it can also be non-dangerous as well it just depends on how you use it.
Is magic real if you believe in magic?
Yes, magic is all around us, the first thing you have to do is believe.
Answer #2:
Believing has nothing to do with it. 'Magic is the Art and Science of causing change to occur in conformity with Will'. Only the realm in which the Will operates changes. You don't have to believe that adding boiling water to tealeaves makes a refreshing drink; it happens because that's the way the world is. So with other realms. You don't have to believe that doing this ritual will cause a demon to appear; your Willdelivers the goods. Once you have learned the rules of making a cup of tea, and assuming you have the necessary equipment and ingredients, it's easy; so with other cases. If your magic doesn't work, either you haven't got the necessary Will, or you are using the wrong ingredients, or the wrong recipe. There's plenty of stuff published. Practice, learn, modify, practice, learn...
Actually i think she or he is saying if you believe in magic like fire and water not in the scientific way. if you believe just try it there are many spells or spell books and if they dont work the first time keep trying..Trust me
Is there really such a thing as a magic wand?
Theologically speaking: NO!
The Bible makes no distinction between so-called White or beneficial supernatural magic and Black or the demonic kind. All supernatural occult activity (I am not talking about divine miracles) are roundly condemned a major problem with Disney and other films that push the erroneous idea that there is white/good magic) as well as Black magic and this is dangerously misleading. At times some magic-oriented Disney films have taken sniping shots at Religion but that is another story! Sorry there is no (White Magic).
A Pagan Perspective:
Magic abounds in the world around us, the first thing you need is to believe. After that, a bit of information:
There really is no answer to the oft heard question; "What is the difference between Black Magic and White Magic?" or "Are you a good witch or a bad witch."
Fact is the magical energies we use are very much like other forms of power.
To help answer this question I will use electricity as a mundane corollary.
The energy itself is neither good nor bad. It is in its use that polarity can be attributed. When electricity is used to cook food, heat homes and light the darkness it is perceived as good. When it is used to torture people, damage things or kill someone, then it is perceived as bad or evil.
The energy itself is neither, it simply is.
In the same way, magical energies are simply there. It is how we draw upon and use the energies that determine how they are perceived.
Another Pagan Perspective:
Most pagans/wiccans/witches will tell you that magick has no color or connection with good or evil. It just is. It's the user's intent that will make the magick black or white.
Did the Bible say you should not use magic?
"Lev. 20:27"`A man or woman who is a medium or spiritist among you must be put to death. You are to stone them; their blood will be on their own heads.'" "Lev. 19:26 "`Do not practice divination or sorcery."
"Deut. 18:10 Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead." "Exod. 22:18 "Do not allow a sorceress to live.
How do you remove the spells that someone cast to the wife?
First of all, was it you that put the love spell on the man? I ask because spell removal is best done by the caster, I will not go into the admonishment you deserve if you did do it. However, go back to your original spell and reverse it. Using the appropriate herbs and moon phase.
If it was not you that cast the spell, the best suggestion I have is to have him bathe in salt water with lavender and frankincense. The moon waning in Scorpio or Pisces. I can't promise it will work completely, but it should help.
Magical spells are a part of the practice of the Craft. They tend to be like recipes for how to do various magical things.
A true practitioner of magic creates each spell anew for each specific need. They may use old spells from their own or another practitioner's Book of Shadows or other source, but they always vary them slightly.
The research done to create a spell is part of the energy you put into it.
It is important to take into consideration:
- your intent (is this something needful? Will it cause harm to yourself or another? Is there a mundane way to achieve your goal? and if so are you also doing that?)
- informed consent (if you are working for or on anyone else do they know what you are doing? Do they know why you are doing it? Do you have their express permission to do it? If not, do not proceed.)
- the phase and house of the moon you will be working in. (it does no good to do a prosperity spell when the moon is waning in Capricorn)
- the materials you need to create your spell. Herbs (best gathered and processed yourself), oils (essential not fragrance), incense, appropriate to your need (make your own if you can), candles, (color, shape, and content beeswax/palm oil/paraffin are all important), other items (cloth, wood, talismans, crystals, paper, inks, etc.)
- the ritual/spell itself. Write your own, it is better to use your own words than to parrot someone else's bad poetry. This way you know for certain what you are invoking, what you are asking for, and what you are offering to pay for it. (nothing is ever completely free)
Yes. Spell books are very real but the results vary depending on your belief and effort put into the spell. Some people don't notice anything that the spell was supposed to do, while others do.
Ritual is a wonderful way to connect with the elements, the Gods, and all who have ever worshipped them, and all who ever will. But there is no need to wait until the Full Moon or the next Sabbat to make this connection. Opportunities abound in our everyday lives. As magickal beings, every intentional action we take is a magickal act. While there are no hard and fast rules, generally Pagan rituals consist of the following steps: creating sacred space, inviting the four elements into the sacred space, inviting the God and Goddess, a statement of purpose for the ritual, the body of the ritual, cakes and ale, thanking the elements and deities for joining, and then closing the circle. The following are suggestions, based on the outline of a Pagan ritual, for creating (or rather noticing) magick at work in your daily life. Creating Sacred Space: Every night before going to bed, tidy up your room and make sure there are pleasant things to look at as you go to sleep: a piece of art, photographs of loved ones, spiritual objects, etc. Say goodnight to the God and Goddess, thank them for what you have learned that day, and ask that solutions to problems you are working on come to you while you sleep. Center and ground as you lie in bed, releasing all tension and worry. Feel the peace spread outward filling the whole room, creating the sacred space to enjoy as you sleep. Calling the Quarters: Get out of bed and walk outside or open a window. Face east. Raise your arms and stand with your legs apart so that you form a star. Stretch and take a deep breath, following that breath as it goes deep into your lungs and hold it. Really experience the Air. Let the breath out, and as you continue to breathe, think of those things which you associate with Air (freedom, youth, beginnings, intelligence, etc). Feel the air cleanse you and become part of you. Light some incense if you like. Thank the Spirits of Air. Depending on the time of day and the weather either light a candle or feel the sun shining down on you. Feel the warmth. Draw the warmth into your body. Feel its healing power, feel it energize you and burn away negativity. As you take a shower or wash your face consciously feel the Water as it flows over you and through your fingers. Let it fill you with a deep sense of calm and security. Feel the Goddess' love and nurturance. Stand outside and feel the Earth beneath your feet, if possible feel it with your hands as well. If you can't go outdoors hold a large stone or crystal in your hands. You could also place your hands on the Earth in a large potted plant. Ground yourself, feeling your roots growing down into the Earth. Feel the solidity and silence of the Earth. Let it fill you with strength and confidence and the wisdom of the ages. Welcoming the God and Goddess: Practice a morning devotional ritual daily and you will begin to see things in a new light. There are many different forms a morning devotional ritual can take. At the least it consists of a self-blessing, a connection with the elements or the Gods. A simple self-blessing can be done by anointing each major body area with your finger. You can anoint yourself with oil or Holy water. Here is a common self-blessing, which I believe is based on the Five-fold Kiss: Top of head - Bless me Lord and Lady (God and Goddess, or specific names) for I am your child. Third eye - Bless my mind that I may know of your truth and wisdom. Throat - Bless my voice that I may speak with kindness. Heart - Bless my heart that I may feel your love and allow your light to shine forth. Genitals - Bless my womb (or phallus) that I may be creative and productive. Knees - Bless my knees that kneel at the sacred altar. Feet - Bless my feet that they lead me always on the path of right and reverence. Hands - Bless my hands that they be instruments of creation and healing. Top of head again - Bless me with your presence this day Lord and Lady for I am your child. This blessing can be modified to fit particular circumstances of your daily life. If you need to make a speech one day you could say something like "Bless my voice that I may speak with eloquence and surety". If you have a test coming up you could say, "Bless my mind that I may think clearly and remember well." Body of the Ritual: Find the magick in the "mundane". Magick is change. Take notice of changes that occur throughout the day and let them fill you with wonder. Think of the elements while going about your normal everyday business. Consciously connect with the elements wherever and whenever you encounter them. Experience the Air as you watch the trees sway and the clouds and birds move across the sky. Even as you feel Air blowing from a fan or heating or cooling duct know that the Spirits of Air are with you. As you drive your car, think about the magick of Fire keeping the engine running. When you eat a hot meal or drink a hot beverage the Spirit of Fire touches you and you are energized. Experience the element of Water as you put a load of laundry in the washing machine, drive through the rain, pour a glass of water or fix a cup of tea. Throughout the day whenever you walk on the Earth or even on pavement feel the Earth beneath your feet. Consciously connect with Her and feel that solid strength. Releasing tension and anger: Take a swim, let the soothing waters of Mother Earth's womb wash your troubles and anger away. Take a ritual bath - do some research into aromatherapy and use appropriate oils in the bath. If a ritual bath or swim are not convenient, hold your hands under running water for a minute or put a bit of water in the basin and feel the tension and negativity drain from you hands into the water. Adding a pinch of salt to the water helps. Focus your anger into a spot in the air in front of you, encase it in a bubble and envision it floating away. Take time for yourself and don't feel guilty about it. Do a grounding exercise. Touch, sit, or lie on the Earth and send your anger down into the fiery core of the Earth where it will be burned away. Healing energies are all around us - in the Earth, the Moon, the Sun, plants and trees, rocks - everywhere. When you are feeling weak, draw these energies into yourself. Cakes and Ale: Every meal is an opportunity to reconnect with the Gods and the elements. Before you eat, pause a moment and either think or say the following: For the seeds that grew them, For the cows that gave the milk, for the chickens, that laid the eggs, For the lives of the animals whose bodies will nourish ours, For those who planted and tended, For the Wind, the Sun, the Rain, and the Earth that nourished them, For those who harvested, milked, gathered and slaughtered, For those who carried, prepared and delivered, I thank you Lord and Lady (or God and Goddess, or specific names) The food blessing should be modified according to the type of food you will eat. The idea is to acknowledge all the hard work and sacrifice that went into your meal. It is thanking the seeds, animals, plants, etc. themselves as well as the Gods for all that we have. As you say the blessing aloud or in your head, envision someone sowing seeds, milking the cow, kneading the bread. You may chose to make a libation to the Gods occasionally or even for each meal. When choosing your offering remember you are making a libation to the Gods to thank them for providing your meal and to show them you trust them to provide you with food in the future. Therefore, a libation should include the nicest pieces of each type of food. These should be carefully placed on a plate, not just heaped into a bowl. The entire plate can be set outside under a tree or in some bushes, or carefully slide the food from the plate onto the Earth. Liquid libations are poured directly onto the ground. Some people reserve a special place in their yards for leaving libations, or you could leave them in various places till you find one that feels right. Closing the Circle: A ritual bath can be a way to prepare for ritual, a ritual by itself, or a wonderful way to unwind at the end of the day. Here is one way to prepare a ritual bath. Feel free to modify it and/or add oils of your choice. You will need incense, a dish of salt, a white candle, and a pitcher of water (if possible, rain, ocean, stream or spring water is best). Fill the tub. Light the candle. Turn out the lights. Wave the incense in a deosil motion above the bath while saying, "Spirits of Air, bless this Water. Help me breathe away any thoughts that cloud my mind. Blessed be." Move the candle deosil above the bath while saying, "Spirits of Fire, bless this Water. Your inspiration is felt in all acts of creativity. Let me feel my creative energies renewed. Blessed be." Again, moving deosil, pour the pitcher of water into the bath and say, "Spirits of Water, bless this bath. As you are the tears of the sorrow and the joy of the Mother, flowing from Her as the tides and the rain, let me feel the love of the Mother in these Waters. Blessed be." Sprinkle the salt into the bath with a deosil motion (three pinches is good), "Spirits of Earth, bless this Water. Cleanse away fears and stress as I enter. Let me feel the warm embrace of the Mother Earth. Blessed be." Stay as long as you like and feel the stress drain away. The ritual bath can also be a good place to meditate. Meditation: Meditation should be part of a daily magickal practice. Set aside minimum 15 minutes a day for meditation. It is a major component to magickal and spiritual growth. As with all magickal practices, the key is consistency, doing it on a regular basis. The more you meditate, the deeper you will become acquainted with yourself, the Gods, and the powers of the Universe which are available to you. Journaling: Just before bed is a good time to write in your journal. Include any messages or revelations which came as a result of meditation. Also include any changes in your perception of the world. Try to write in your journal every day so that it becomes a habit, even if it is only a line or two. Dreams: If you want to remember your dreams better, say so aloud before you go to sleep: "I will dream tonight and I will remember my dreams in detail." To increase your chance for meaningful dreams that you can remember, get enough sleep, and avoid alcohol, caffeine, and sleeping aids. Write your dreams down in a separate dream journal as soon as you wake up. Keep a pen and light handy so you can record dreams when you wake up in the middle of the night without waking yourself or anyone else up too much. Honesty: In 'The Spiral Dance', Starhawk wrote, "Those who would practice magic must be scrupulously honest in their personal lives. In one sense, magic works on the principle that 'it is so because I say it is so.' A bag of herbs acquires the power to heal because I say it does. For words to take on such force, I must be deeply and completely convinced that it is identified with truth as I know it. If I habitually lie to my lovers, steal from my boss, pilfer from supermarkets, or simply renege on my promises, I cannot have that conviction...To a person who practices honesty and keeps commitments, 'As I will, so mote it be' is not just a pretty phrase; it is a statement of fact." Magickal Vows: All of us could use some improvement. Whether it is developing a good habit (meditating, exercising, eating better, smiling more, reading) or getting rid of a bad one (smoking, passing rumors, complaining), we do not always need an elaborate ritual to accomplish our goals. As part of your regular Esbat ritual, start a new habit of making "Lunar Vows". A Lunar Vow is something you promise the Gods you will do for a month. Such as, "I vow, before the Gods this lunar cycle, to finish reading Drawing Down the Moon" or "I vow, before the Gods this lunar cycle, to say something nice to someone at least once a day". Write the vow in your journal and keep track of your progress. Rites of Passage: Each life-changing event can be cause for acknowledgement or celebration. Rites of passage can be celebrated alone, with a close friend, or with a large group. The ritual can be simple with few props, or as elaborate as you choose. You can even celebrate rites of passage with non-Pagan friends (they don't have to know the event holds magickal significance for you). The following are some events which can be considered rites of passage: Pregnancy - Birth - Dedication to the Gods - Initiation - Menopause - Becoming grandparents - Death - Retirement - Miscarriage - Wiccaning - First house or apartment - First day of school (or college) - Puberty - Receiving driver's license - Handfasting (marriage) - Graduation - First Job - Engagement - Eldering or Croning
Several people do say that magic is real but i don't think so. I am sorry to hurt you if you do believe in magic but what is the use even if it is real? if magic is real, you may use it to bring rain, fetch things, powerfully guard your house etc and you may have what you want in an interesting way but (if magic is true; but of course it's not!) you will have to work hard to get it. So it would be same as getting the same thing by working hard without magic. If you are interested in magic obviously you should be interested in magic stories(or movies). Magic stories (or movies) can sometimes take you to that world itself and later after you read it(or watch it), you would start feeling sad that magic is not true or you can't do it; these stories and movies are only for entertainment but not something to be taken seriously.good luck and don't worry that magic is not real(if you believe my answer) because there are more wonderful things in this world to do for which humans don't have enough time for doing.

How do you help others using black magic?
From Walmart?
No really, some people do believe that it is possible to do black magic. If you are interested in these kind of things then you might like to start by reading The Satanic Bible by Anton Sander LaVey- founder of the Church of Satan!
Personally however, as a member of Pendragon's School of Real Magic, I do not believe magic is ever evil. It is a neutral, passive force until a wizard or witch is able to mold it and use it to create powerful spells. The focus and attitude necessary for magic is possible only from a balanced and healthy state of mind- not from one clouded by hatred or indeed by any other emotion.
Furthermore, the very act of calling up "the devil" or other evil spirits is counterproductive, as the only truly evil spirits exist in the frailty of our own human minds. We can do a lot of evil if we wish- but this has nothing to do with real magic- and everything to do with the desires of our hearts which we have enacted physically with our own hands...
If you'd like to find out more about the awesome, but neutral force that is real magic, look up Pendragon School of Real Magic online.
santa must use magic or he isnt real proof:
There are approximately two billion children (persons under 18)
in the world. However, since Santa does not visit children of
Muslim, Hindu, Jewish or Buddhist
religions, this reduces the workload for Christmas night to 15%
of the total, or 378 million (according to the population
reference bureau). At an average (census) rate of 3.5 children
per household, that comes to 108 million homes, presuming there
is at least one good child in each. Santa has about 31 hours of
Christmas to work with, thanks to the different time zones and
the rotation of the earth, assuming east to west (which seems
logical). This works out to 967.7 visits per second. This is to
say that for each Christian household with a good child, Santa
has around 1/1000th of a second to park the sleigh, hop out, jump
down the chimney, fill the stocking, distribute the remaining
presents under the tree, eat whatever snacks have been left for
him to get back up the chimney into the sleigh and get onto the
next house (which if they don't have a chimney or he gets stuck that still must happen in the time laps of 1/1000th of a second)
Assuming that each of these 108 million stops is evenly
distributed around the earth (which, of course, we know to be
false, but will accept for the purposes of our calculations), we
are now talking about 0.78 miles per household; a total trip of
75.5 million miles, not counting bathroom stops or breaks. This
means Santa's sleigh is moving at 650 miles per second or 3,000
times the speed of sound. For purposes of comparison, the fastest
man made vehicle, the Ulysses space probe, moves at a poky 27.4
miles per second, and a conventional reindeer can run (at best)
15 miles per hour.
The payload of the sleigh adds another interesting element.
Assuming that each child gets nothing more than a medium sized
LEGO set (two pounds), the sleigh is carrying over 500 thousand
tons, not counting Santa himself ,which depending on the house gains pounds from the milk and cookies from each household. On land, a conventional
reindeer can pull no more than 300 pounds. Even granting that the
"flying" reindeer can pull 10 times the normal amount, the job
can't be done with eight or even nine of them - Santa would need
360,000 of them. This increases the payload, not counting the
weight of the sleigh, another 54,000 tons.
A mass of nearly 600,000 tons traveling at 650 miles per second
creates enormous air resistance this would heat up the reindeer
in the same fashion as a spacecraft re-entering the earth's
atmosphere. The lead pair of reindeer would adsorb 14.3
quintillion joules of energy per second each.
In short, they would burst into flames almost instantaneously, exposing the reindeer behind them and creating deafening sonic booms in their wake. The entire reindeer team would be vaporized within 426 thousandths of a second, or right about the time Santa reached
the fifth house on his trip.
Not that it matters, however, since Santa, as a result of
accelerating from a dead stop to 650 m..p.s. in .001 seconds,
would be subjected to acceleration forces of 17,000 g's. A 250
pound Santa (which seems ludicrous considering all the high
calorie snacks he must have consumed over the years) would be
pinned to the back of the sleigh by 4,315,015 pounds of force,
instantly crushing his bones and organs and reducing him to a
quivering blob of pink goo. Therefore, if Santa did exist, he's
dead now, unless he freezes time or uses magic to travel back in time.
From a book on Druidic practices -
a recipe for:
LOVE POTION TEA
1 pinch of rosemary
2 teaspoons of black tea
3 pinches thyme
3 pinches nutmeg
3 fresh mint leaves
6 fresh rose petals
6 lemon leaves
3 cups pure spring water
Sugar
Honey
To make another person fall in love with you, brew this tea on a Friday during a waxing moon (moving from empty to full).
Place all ingredients in an earthenware or copper tea kettle. Boil three cups of pure spring water and add to the kettle. Sweeten with sugar and honey, if desired.
Before drinking, recite this rhyme:
BY LIGHT OF MOON WAXING
I BREW THIS TEA
TO MAKE [lover's name] DESIRE ME.
Drink some of the tea and say:
GODDESS OF LOVE
HEAR NOW MY PLEA
LET [lover's name] DESIRE ME!
SO MOTE IT BE
SO MOTE IT BE
On the following Friday, brew another pot of the love potion tea and give some to the person you want to love you. He or she will soon begin to fall in love with you.
All in fun - but good luck!!!
Classic Love Potion #9
There are a few different love potion spells based on the magickal number 9, but this is one of the more traditional ones. It's an easy spell, even though it does have a long list of ingredients. Thankfully, they are all pretty easy to find:
Light candles around the area where you will be working (likely the kitchen), and mix all the ingredients in your pot. Stir together over low heat while saying the words of this spell:"Let the one who drinks this wine,
Shower me with love divine,
Love potion number nine,
Let his (or her) love be forever mine.
Bring everything to a low simmer and let it heat for another 9 minutes. Take the pot off the stove and let it cool. While it is cooling down, say the names of 9 love goddesses aloud: Venus, Ishtar, Astarte, Nephthys, Hathor, Aphrodite, Freya, Arianrhod, Inanna.
Strain your fresh potion to remove the bits and pieces, and pour into a stoppered bottle. Keep in the fridge until you need it. Give on its own to your loved one, or add to another drink for a romantic boost of magick.

What is better black magic or white magic?
There really is no answer to the oft heard question; "Are you a good witch or a bad witch."
Fact is the magical energies we use are very much like other forms of power.
For this discussion I will use electricity as a mundane corollary.
What few practitioners of any discipline come right out and say is all magic is manipulation. This means as conscientious magical practitioners we are obliged to constantly monitor not only our actions, but also our motivations.
