Take the little stick with the spongy things on the end,rub it in the shade of eyeshadow you want and lightly rub it on your eyelid. Don't even think about trying to put on eyeliner!Then you're set. I have combination skin and I get blemishes in my T-zone and need to use concealer every day. The best full-coverage concealer is probably the MAC studio effects concealer, because its so thick but light and gives a really nice heavy coverage so it hides all redness and dark spots. For just a cheap, everyday concealer is the Maybelline NY dream mousse concealer, because its super light and airy and has quite excellent coverage. For under the eye concealer, the best is Bobbi Brown, but just for a cheap drugstore one, the Physicians Fomula stick concealer or The Body Shop tea tree concealer stick are both good.

There are a couple of ways.
You can hold the wand vertically and stroke each lash going up and down.
Or you can hold it vertically and sweep it from side to side across your lashes.
You can also buy "bottom lash mascara" that has a very small brush. This you would hold horizontally and apply like the mascara on your upper lashes.
How do you put on eyeliner without your eyelashes getting in the way?
You could use a Q tip (cotton bud) and gently dip it in makeup remover and then pull the area under your eye and as if you're applying eyeliner, use the same 'movements' to get rid of the eyeliner with the cotton bud. sorry, I hope this makes sense to you
