I just saw one for sale on Ebay with the part # F4SF-10B 885-AA on it. Remember the B series vehicles were made by Ford that year, and you can interchange parts with a Ford Ranger (except for parts specifically molded with "Mazda" as part of the design, I.E. Grills, etc)

well if its a five speed its located on the driver side and there should be a square plug holding it. im not to sure about atomatics

Undo the top mounting screw and then slide a wide flat screwdriver or chisel behind the assembly about two thirds the way down and apply gentle pressure until the bayonet fitting pops free. Repeat the leverage on the other side to pop the other bayonet fitting.

Fuel filter is mounted on the bulkhead behind the engine. Look down the back of the engine and you will see a cylindrical part mounted vertivally on the bulkhead.

hey.. examples for a lever could be scissors, pliers, ur elbow when u try to lift something and many more. all u need is a force acting on one end of a fixed object, movable about a fulcrum, and the load that u wish to perform the operation on, on the other end.

It would depend on which Mazda. Probes were made by Mazda, and used the same engines as the 626, MX-6, and some Millenias.

Unfortunately for you, I do not know anything specific about your model of car,but

replacing water pumps are, or at least used to be, something that an amateur could

do. With some guidance from my Dad, but with armed only with common sense, I replaced the water pump on my 1965 Plymouth when I was in college and had no extra

money.

Buy a new or rebuilt water pump.

The pump should come with a gasket.

You may want to replace the belt that turns it and the hoses that connect it to the

engine and radiator.

as well as the other belts if you have to take them off to get to water pump.

What you do is first drain the radiator, saving the antifreeze.

Then loosen the belt that turns the water pump, loosen the clamps that hold

the hoses that connect to the pump , remove the old pump. put the new one back

one ,and reconnect the hoses and belts and refill the radiator. Check for leaks.

I did this in the summer -- I would try in the winter .

Most air injection is pretty similar, What air injection does is it forces air into the exhaust to help the catalytic converter burn more of the unburned fuel in the exhaust to reduce emissions. The air injection pump is powered by the vehicles drive belt most of the time, rarely its electronic. The pump draws in ambient(outside) air, compresses it slightly, and releases it, usually into the exhaust manifold, directly into the exhaust stream, adding more oxygen to the exhaust, and essentially, helping the catalytic converter retain more heat so that it re-burns the unburned fuel before it gets back out in to the atmosphere.

It works the same way a fire does, either in a fire pit or fireplace, when you have small coals, or embers, in a fire, if you fan, or blow air on to them, they start to heat up, and eventually turn in to flames. Fire can't survive without oxygen, and the Air Injection System helps to keep the air around us cleaner.

If you don't own a shop press, don't even bother. They are pressed bearings, you need to invest in a shop press to complete the job.

The firing order is 1-3-4-2, the cylinder closest to the front of the truck is cylinder number 1. Attached below is some additional information for your future reference.

To release the pressure in your fuel lines (and fuel filter) you'll need to locate the fuel pump fuse in the fuse box. If you don't have a fuel pump fuse, find the relay that operates the fuel pump. Once you've found the fuel pump fuse or relay, start the car. With the engine running, pull the fuse or relay out. If you pulled the right one, the engine will quickly die. Since it's using all of the pressurized fuel in the system, the fuel lines won't be pressurized when you crack the fittings on your fuel filter. Now that you've relieved the fuel pressure you can remove the old fuel filter. If you didn't do this yet, you must go to the previous step and do it. Very dangerous! == ==
