What happens in Twilight by Meg Cabot?
in the book twilight by megCabot Suze and Jesse state their relationship as boyfriend and girlfriend. But of course Paul gets very hostile about it. After reading some papers of his grandfather's thesis he figures out another thing that mediators can do. They can travel through the 4th demention. Time travel.
When Suze finds this out, she instantly knows what he is going to do. she confronts him many times and tries to find people who agree with her. But no one does. They all think that they should let Paul do it so both Suze and Jesse can get on with their lives. The only person who she hasn't asked yet is Jesse because she is afraid that he'll say that he wants to move on with his life. but whenever he hears about it, he does the quite opposite.
Relived, Suze tells Paul this but he doesn't care. He says that if her and Jesse had never met then she would fall in love with him and they could be happy together. When she finds out that he had gotten a belt of Felix Diego and travels back in time, she grabs the picture of Jesse and goes back to the night where Jesse was killed. Once she meets Paul there he stays with her until they fall asleep waiting for Jesse to arrive to the hotel where he is staying at. When she awakes, she finds that she is bound, and gagged from Paul
Furious, she is forced to stay there until he comes back to get her. But someone comes into the barn that her and Paul had stayed in. Its Jesse. He finds her and knows nothing about her, because they hadn't met yet. He unties her and takes care of her until she realizes that she wants Jesse to live. She knows it selfish of her to let him die just so she can have met him.
When she tells him, he doesn't believe her. She eventually convinces him by telling him something that only he had told her. His secret want. To become a doctor. Soon after that, Paul comes back and is attack by Jesse because he tied up a girl. Once Suze called him off they all fall asleep until Diego comes.
Jesse and Diego fight with knifes and have a few close calls. Eventually Diego makes Jesse drop his knife by holding Suze at knife point. Suze gets free and Jesse kills Diego But when she fell out of Diego's arms, she falls onto a lamp, and starts a barn fire. Paul leaves by telling her to shift, while Jesse stays and saves Suze from the fire. As they jump out, she remembers that she needs to go back to her time and she leaves, while in Jesse's arms.
When she awakes from unconsciousness's she finds that she accidentally took Jesse with her. He is barely alive and Paul and Suze run him to the hospital where they meet father Dominic. she cries and cries because Jesse is dying and there is nothing she can do about it. Until Jesse the gost appears.
He later accedentally touches his body, and gets sucked into it after giving Suze a goodbye kiss. He later wakes up and they are reunited.
It ends with her going to prom with him and Jesse meeting their parents. Its a good book.
Suze and Jesse are "a thing." Paul was trying to stop that by going back in time and save Jesse so Jesse would not die in the first place. If Paul saved Jesse, then Jesse's ghost would not be lingering in Suze's bedroom anymore.
In the last book Susannah is enjoying her life with Jesse, her ghost boyfriend, and than Paul finds a way to go back in time to stop Jesse from getting killed which would result in Susannah and Jesse never meeting. So Susannah being a shifter, the same as Paul, goes back in time to stop him and realizes that she can't let Diego kill Jesse all over again, so when Jesse shows up at the house that he is murdered in Susannah tells him that Diego wants to kill him and she saves him. But at one point Diego grabs Susannah when he and Jesse are fighting and when he pushes her to the ground she falls on a lantern and starts a fire. Paul shifts back to the future and as Susannah and Jesse are about to jump from the barn she shifts too and takes Jesse with her by accident. When she arrives back in her time she finds Jesse's body lying barely breathing. She and Paul take him to the hospital and right when she thinks she'll never see him again when ghost Jesse shows up and finds her and his body in the hospital. He and Susannah are about the kiss each other goodbye when he accidentally touches his body's leg and he is sucked into his body and comes to life and the Jesse Susannah knows and loves. Later, Susannah and Jesse go the Winter Ball together and live happily ever after! THE END.

WHAT HAPPENED IN BEING NIKKI?
Em is on a model shoot in St. John’s for a Stark deodorant commercial. Its a beach shooting. She falls from a rock cliff into the water where there are a bunch of nurse sharks. Brandon Stark saves her.
At her hotel, later, she gets a call from apartment saying a man keeps coming back and trying to get into her place.
When she gets home to New York, Em realises this mysterious man is Nikki’s brother, Steven. He tells her that his and Nikki’s mother is missing. Em has to tell him about her amnesia problem – he doesn’t really believe her – and tells Steven that she doesn’t know where his mother could be. Lulu – who is unabashedly attracted to Steven – invites him to stay at the Loft.
Em notices the apartment is bugged. She makes sure not to say anything anti-Stark from them on. She visits her real family and notices that they are bugged too. She leaves the apartment in tears, knowing she will never be able to go back to her old life now – Stark really does own her.
Leaving the apartment she encounters Christopher. He tells her about his plan to take down Stark Enterprises for “killing” Em – remember he doesn’t know about the whole-body transplant yet. Em realises that he loved/loves her. He has a picture of Em in his room. Christopher also offers his help in tracking down Nikki’s and Steven’s mother. He needs an account name and password for a Stark employee though and Em, a little reluctantly, agrees to help.
At a rehearsal for Stark Angels New Year’s Eve fashion show, a fellow Stark model, named Veronica, warns Em to stop sending romantic emails to her boyfriend, Justin Bay. Em denies every sending emails to Justin – let alone romantic ones. Veronica doesn’t believe her. As Em practices her run on the catwalk, she slips on a pile of feather – seemingly set up by Veronica. Afterwards, at the office of a Stark doctor who checks her over, she observes the doctor typing her username and password into a Stark employee login site.
Later, Em, Christopher, Lulu, and Steven visit Christopher’s cousin Felix and he hacks into the Stark IT mainframe for them, using the account details Em found.
At Nikki and Lulu’s annual party, Christopher kisses Em and reveals that he knows her real name. He also confesses that he has always loved her, and regrets that it took her death for him to finally realise it.
Em realises that the disappearance of Nikki’s mother is linked to Justin’s emails. She asks Justin to borrow his mobile, but he doesn’t let her. Christophe rand Gabriel Lila stage a physical intervention. Em and Christopher go through his message and find on from a “Nikki Howard”. They get Felix to track the message to a house of a Dr. Jonathon Fong – a neurosurgeon that works for Stark.
They travel to Dr. Fong’s house and find that Nikki’s mum and Nikki herself (now in another body) are alive, and living there. Dr. Fong explains that after he carried out the whole-body transplant, he discovered Nikki didn’t actually die from an aneurysm. Nikki had been recuperating in is house every since. Robert Stark (owner of Stark Enterprises) ordered Nikki’s death after she had tried to blackmail him with trade secrets about the new Stark Quark laptop range about to be released.
Brandon – who was left sleeping in the car – woke up, snuck into the house and – after overhearing everything – decides to threaten Em.

After overhearing Nikki and Dr. Fong’s confessions, Brandon threatens Em. He tells her that she must help him destroy his father’s career and leave Christopher for him – or else!
