If an 11 year old girl had her period in January and not in February what dose that mean?
Sometimes, when girls first start their periods, they aren't very regular. This may go on for several months. The first few months can sometimes be called spotting....when spotting, you don't really have your full period. (the name kinda describes it ;)) Don't worry though. It make take even a year until your body can completely adjust and you can have normal cycles.
Hope this helped!

Could the start of Yaz affect the start of your period?
Yes, when starting any birth control your period will be different than it was before the Pill.
If you have taken another brand of birth control pill that follows 21 active and 7 inactive days, chances are you got your period the week you were taking the inactive pills. With YAZ, you will get your period during the 4 days you are taking the inactive white pills. When you start taking the new month's pack, you may still have some bleeding or spotting.
Irregular bleeding occurs most often during the first few months of any BCP use. Such bleeding may be temporary and usually does not indicate any serious problems. It is important to continue taking your pills on schedule. If the bleeding occurs in more than one cycle or lasts for more than a few days, talk with your healthcare provider.

Periods come and go, I wouldn't worry to much :)
A period (more technically known as a menstrual cycle) is the result of hormonal changes occurring in your body on a regular basis as your body prepares itself for the possibility of carrying a child.
Every month, your body produces a hormone called estrogen, the purpose of which is to produce an egg from your ovaries and to build a fertile lining in your uterus to support the egg if it is fertilized. After the egg is released from the ovary, it travels into the fallopian tube into the uterus, where if you have had sex, it may be fertilized and attach to the uterine lining, where it will grow into a baby. The space where the egg was becomes a luteal cyst and begins to secrete progesterone, which keeps the lining of the uterus healthy for the growing baby.
If the egg is unfertilized, after a few days the progesterone hormone levels fall and the uterine lining begins to weaken and shed, what you know as your "period."
Why would you have a period every two weeks and look like you are six months pregnant?
You have fibroids. And big ones. They will make you bleed a lot and if they grow to much you will look pregnant. You probably are going to the bathroom a lot since it is probably pressing your bladder.
The fibroids are benign tumors. They should be left alone if they are not bothering you or affecting your fertility if you want to get pregnant. They will disappear when you are in menopause or using natural remedies.
What to do:
- Go to your gynecology and request a test. He/She will also order an ultrasound to see the location and size of the fibroid(s).
- Also ask him to have your hormones tested ( a blood test)
- DO NOT get convince into getting a hysterectomy. The risk of getting cancer is only 1%. The consequences of hysterectomy are huge ( your whole body will be affected and every day more negative effects of not having the uterus are being discovered)
- The doctor may offer you drugs that will put you in menopause for 3 months and shrink the fibroid temporary. Then they will do a surgery to remove them or use any other treatment.... think about the consequences and take a smart decision.
You can also start doing natural remedies. I know of many women who have cure themselves of fibroids. You need to lower your estrogen and raise the progesterone. Start by buying a progesterone cream ( In amazon they sell
Emerita Pro-Gest Natural Progesterone Cream made of Mexican yam) , stop eating dairy products (milk, cheese, butter, all of them) , stop eating meat and reduce chicken.
If you can afford eat only organic food. Estrogen are found in almost all processed food so if it comes in a package, try to avoid it. Also avoid food that are in plastic containers ( bottle of water, etc). Do not use plastics in the microwave...
You need to take super hot bath for 15 minutes ( the hotter you can stand) in a bath at least 3 times a week before going to sleep. Only your body no the head.
Try to relax and get in peace with yourself also... yoga is good.
You will see results in months. If you can find a naturopathic doctors is even better. They will give you a mor
Good luck and don't worry. Fibroids are more annoying that bad. And listen to your body is telling you something.
