yes of course you can swim when your on your period water prevends the blood from getting released from your body. So as long as your not in the water for a long period of time then your fine.

Depending on how late you are, you should test. If it's negative like mine, but you still don't get it, see a doc for a blood test.

Yes, You can. However, I would recommend wearing a tampon while swimming. In some cases periods will stop while swimming due to the difference in pressure. But, if you were to sneeze, cough, or laugh, you would change the pressure, probably making you leak a bit. That would be a bit embarrassing. Nothing should hold you back from enjoying a nice swim. Go to your doctor immediatly. You might have either a hormonal inbalance (something I had several years ago, fixed pretty easily with medicine), fibriods, uterine cysts, or polyps. In order to determine exactly what is going on that is causing such an abnormally long period, you need to be checked out by a doctor. Again, go as soon as you can.
