how do you know if you bleed too much when your on your period

Before I started taking birth control about 6 months ago I had heavy periods. Now I get it lightly for one day and spot the rest, it was scary at first because I thought I could be pregnant but some birth controls make your period lighter. If it really bothers you then you can tell your doctor about it and he/she will give you a pill that makes them come on better.

sure - a little. It's a decent pain reliever, but it does nothing from swelling / inflammation that is likely the source of the pain.

Ibuprofen helps with both the pain AND the swelling. But ibuprofen is not nice to stomachs. If you're not a regular ibuprofen taker, beware of stomach pain when you take it...

YES! you should totally see a Doctor RIGHT AWAY. Even if your young and irregular, 12 months is far to bad. You might have something wrong inside your body!

I have experience, my periods USUALLY last about 17 days. the SHORTEST was 10 days.

For me though, its 17 days, and its HEAVY. IT IS CALLED " menorrhagia "

yes i personally have started my period with very few changes in my body.

It depends on the pill; read the label's instructions on what to do for missed pills.

If you just missed a couple of days, you may be able to catch up again. If you missed an entire week, you might need to use other forms of contraception and start fresh with a new pack next month.

The purpose of a birth control pill is not to get pregnant, so they are not "prone" to getting pregnant. To get pregnant the pill has to be stopped.

Yes, it is normal because you probably just started your period. You are usually irregular for your first 2-3 years then your periods will becoem normal. This may also have to do with if you shave your pubic hair cause blood will only come out if you have tons of hair "down there."

yes most likely, it will take awhile for your body to return back to normal and bring all those crazy hormones back to the right level, after having a baby my period lasted 6weeks, however if you feel as if your period is alot heavier flow then usual go see your doctor, hopefully they will be able to put your mind at ease, hope this helps :)

I'm on my first round of clomid and finished taking last pill about two weeks ago. I've got thrush and thought it was an early sign of pregnancy, but apparently it's the clomid interfering with the ph balance. It's not actually thrush but very similar.
