Well my answer to this question is just believe that you can be a mermaid and if you want to turn into one i suggest trying a spell you can find if you try looking for one also if you do turn into a mermaid or merman and you want to turn back to a human most spells just tell you to not touch water and you wont become one......Have fun try

usully when they sing, it sort of puts people under a "trance", you would say, although age- old mythology says they're always near water/ in water, etc., however, modern-day mermaids try to avoid water at all costs to avoid showing their iconic true form, the mermaid. the types of mermaids i'm talking about here is sort of the "convertable" sea-land mermaid, which is much like a daywalker vampire. (except that when this type of mermaid comes in contact with water, s/he will begin to change from thier human form to the mermaid, which is why they try to avoid any situation that involves water at ALL COSTS)

Yes, if they really do exist. they would probably have a tail more like a Seal than the traditional fishy appendage, as People are Mammals, then Mermaids would have to be mammalian and have a seal-type tail. Possibly also a diagonal or dappled patchy area around the lower abdomen, which in the distance might look like some form of swim-suit. There is some evidence an immature creature of this type was accidentally killed in a pipeline explosion, and her body was recovered by either Fisherman, maintenance men inspecting the Pipe-line, or Coast Guardsmen. The poor Girl"s features were blackened by chemical burns from the explosion. I know what I saw.

You can't turn into a mermaid. Nothing will change you it is not physically possible. Think about it how could a person be part fish and part human and still live? They can't. Mermaids are not real and are only in myth. Get a costume if you want to be a mermaid.

As the -maid part might imply, a mermaid is a femal mythical creature. The male equivalent is called a merman.
