i took a hit about 10 hours before a urine test and it didnt show up but it was through a company that was contracted thru my security job so it might on a really expensive test but me and my gym buddies have been testd thru alot of our jobs and we all were ok

The 3 days is correct.The incorrect part of this is that not just weed will stay in your system for any period of time.Any type of drug that is smoked/inhaled will stay in the cells of your lungs and the fatty tissues of your body.People smoke cocaine,speed/meth,heroin,raw opium etc..even some medications such as the old qualudes and mandrexexes people smoked called "chasing the dragon".Any drug smoked can stay in your system 30 to 60 days depending on the amount of fatty tissue in your body.

I wouldn't. Methadone is usually prescribed for opiate-addicted patients for treatment in detoxification. Methadone is also prescribed for relief of severe pain, so using painkillers after methadone would probably intensify the effect of both drugs and possibly cause nausea, constipation, and drug addiction.

Yes, but it is really pointless because methadone has opiate blocking properties and will block the effects of the hydrocodone. When I was on methadone, I had a root canal and got vicodin (hydrocodone) and they did absolutley nothing because of the methadone. Methadone does help with pain though.

It probably depends on your usage habits. For instance, you likely would not get sick if you were to take 1 or 2 10mg hydrocodone after a dentist's appointment and then take suboxone a week later. However, since opioids can accumulate in your body, if you have had a steady habit for a long while it will take longer for them to purge out of your system.

I wouldn't say it's safe because you are talking about very powerful opiates here, but I dont know why you would take Demerol after you took 50mg of MEthadone because it will not really have any effect. Methadone has opiod inhibiting properties and will clog the receptors in your brain, therefore making the Demerol completely useless for the most part.

You can do that by going to a hospital, or a rehab clinic that does the rapid opiate elimination... They would give you general anesthesia, and then put you on high dose IV naloxone, A powerful opiate antagonist. If you do not get the general anesthesia then the naloxone would cause the most potent pain a human can experience. Some people take naloxone in very small dosages mixed with buprenorphine which can kill the addiction...

But even with the rapid elimination process it would still take a few days for a negative opiate test, not to mention the time you'd be in the hospital (usually in the ICU) This is a great procedure that takes away the chemical addiction completely, it's relatively fast compared to other procedures, the difference is the patient doesn't feel any discomfort as they would feel with any other detox methods... If you have to take a pee test, go to a doc, have him write you a script for Tylenol 3, and you can state to the "drug administrator" that you don't take drugs but you do take Tyl.3 for migraines... Tyl3 has codeine one of the weakest opiates available, and does cause you to test positive for opiates on the tests...

The same thing happened to me but with amphetamines, I was prescribed a lot of Adderall and would only use it for recreational purposes, then I got a job and tested positive for amphetamines... I showed them the bottle of adderall with my name on it, said it was for a very mild ADD I had and that I would only take when I needed lots of concentration. They didn't mind, but some companies will ask for a letter from your doc, stating if and why you were prescribed that med....

suboxone has a long halflife about 23hours. day one you will feel no other opiates. day two you will feel them kick in then the suboxone stopping the opiate from working. day three you can begin to feel the full effect of other opiates. be careful not to take more trying to feel the other opiates. eventhough suboxone has naloxone in it, you can still overdose.

fentanyl is 50 to 100 times more potent than morphine. The wording is extremely important. 100mcg/hr of fentanyl is a patch and before you can compare it to morphine you have to convert it to the same dosage.

100mcg/hr of fentanyl is about a daily dose of 2.4 mg of fentanyl. The conversion then becomes 2.4 mg of fentanyl = 200 mg of morphine. You can't compare two different measurement sizes when doing this type of math and just apply the math directly to the differing measurements, this is grade school math. They have to both be mg or both be mcg before you apply the math.

Please consult a doctor to find out if you need narcotics and if Fentanyl is right for you. I have been on it three years and I have been trying to find a way to get away from it. Think about it though if you or others attempt to use the horrible math done by the previous user than you could have suffered withdrawal if you already take narcotics or god forbid overdosed somehow. I have just talked to my pharmacist at the VA in MPLS, MN about changing my 75 mcg patch to long term oral morphine. My patch says it has 12.6 mgs of Fentanyl in it which is 4.2 mgs per day. She told me that the equivalent to morphine would be 160 mgs - which proves your answer correct since 200 times .75 equals 160. I am not sure how you came up with your answer though so I personally do not know how the answer is derived at. I started with 75mgs of methadone per day but they took me off because of a low heart rate. I have always had a low heart rate and the methadone worked well for my pain and the patch did not - so that now brings me to trying the morphine. I cannot see how it will be different. Thank you for your answer. Since my doc seems angry with me because I augmented my patch with some leftover methadone once, I just wanted to verify the equivalency with someone else.

I'm not sure who the bone head was that typed in the first response but they are 100% WRONG. The second answer is correct, (I actually should have typed the first answer, since I cannot consider that first response an answer LOL anyhow that is neither here nor there) back to your question....

If the tester is testing specifically for methadone then it will show up yes but you have to be testing for it. Every other drug will show up under its category as opium which would be Oxycontin/percocet, cocaine, benzoids which is things like lorazapam, they are Valiums (downers) there is also a slot for morphine. If you take anything that has codeine in it such as Tylenol #1,2,3 or 4 you will get a positive result for morphine. The reason for this is that your body cannot digest/process straight codeine so it turns itself into morphine first then it is able to digest it. This was news to me as well when my doctor told me, I had no idea!!

Anyhow none of the regular drug slots will show methadone, it has to be specifically tested for. I hope this helps you out. Good luck with your test if you have to take one......

Oxycodone usually does not come up positive for morphine on a drug test because they have different chemical structures...They are almost identical, so it really depends on the amount that was ingested...A faint line may appear for morphine meaning that the urine is skeptical, but nowdays urine is being sent to labs to confirm a specific drug or drug metabolite...Example : Oxycodone metabolizes in the body as Oxymorphone,, meaning if a GC/MS (Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry) test is called upon, science can detect if a person has used oxycodone...But nowadays they have a sepcific dipstick/cup test for oxycodone , so i wouldn't suggest to continue using oxycodone if you are not prescribed, especially if you have legal problems where you are being drug tested.
